Design Toscano God of the Grape Harvest Wall Sculpture

Bought this for our dining room wall. I have been wanting this for a couple of years and finally decided to purchase. I'm so glad I did. My only critique, and it's minor, is that I wish the face was maybe just a tiny shade lighter so that the shadows could accentuate all the nooks and crannies of his beard. Taken as a whole the coloring is very muted, not garish at all. Looks great on our wall.

I purchased this for my daughter for Xmas to add to her toscano wine and grapes design in her kitchen area. It has become the focus point. Everyone absolutely loves it. Very nicely made!

This wall sculpture is so eye-catching and gorgeous! I was hesitant to purchase this because decor pieces can look different in person than in a catalogue; however, I am so glad I went ahead and hit the button - I love this sculpture! Arrived in perfect condition and is gracing the dining room with his pensive look and beauty!

I bought this to put on a long hall wall coming into a "grape" oriented kitchen. Nice color them and large enough for that wall to not make it look tiny. Rather than fight with the two screw holes on the back, hubby put one screw in the wall for the left side and I used 3M picture hangers....One that holds 10 lbs where the right screw should have been and one that holds 5 lbs on the bottom of the sculpture. I removed the inserts for the right screw hole so he would lay flat against the wall....Perfect.

Beautiful colors. Nice painting. Heavy weight. I liked the first one, so ordered a second one. Take a clean cloth and shine up the grapes. Plan to hang both in my dining area. Always pleased with the quality of Toscano products, and they look just like the picture!

I gotta be honest....it is kind of creepy looking in real life. Looks more like Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean....

I like the looks, but I have trouble with one of them the paint on the the stem at bottom has just rubbed off, it is down to the white it's like a sealent is missing or something wrong with the paint. I am not sure what to do with it or how to fix it.

I finally did buy it while taking advantage of a special, and I do like it. The scarier, darker-colored Green Man that was in the same location was not in the right light so I moved it to a much better location, and God of the Grape took its place over a doorway to our kitchen which sports grape adorned outlet plates, grape salt & pepper shakers, and a scroll sculpture which reads "In Vino Veritas" (In Wine Truth). The detail is not as sharp as it could be (or it takes a really good picture), but it is above a doorway, not at eye level, and it does accent a Dionysian theme if that is your intention.

Purchased this as a gift & it's a beautiful piece. I wish I had a place to put one in my own home!

I love this item. My only complaint is that it was wrapped to soon after spraying and some of the paint was rubbed off the tip of the nose. I bought him to hang on the back of my house in my enclosed deck.

I was very pleased with this product. The colors are so beautiful. I hung it in my dining area, and it looks great! I have ordered several items from Toscano, and I have always been pleased with the quality.

What a great piece of artwork! We attached the sculpture to our railing on the deck which overlooks the vineyard! Perfect - I'm ordering another one!

Upon receiving it and opening the package, we were quite impressed! It looks perfect hanging over our bar. Since we just got it, we can't comment on its durability or maintenance.
