I hung it above master bed - looks amazing. Someone complained about "flimsy hands" however, due to their size, they had to be very light for small mechanism to move them. It's not that hard to bend them so they won't interfere with each other. If you're looking for solid brass, heavy duty hands, you'd need a large and pricey mechanism which wouldn't even fit within the 2" thin clock face. I have it for 8 years and still love it.

We have a large Limestone Fireplace mantle in our family's great room (Almost 6 foot tall) and this large limestone style clock is an excellent match in color, style, and grandeur. This product provides a real "Old world" feeling without the price that your friends and family will think you paid for it. I did have concerns about the clock hands. Others have indicated that the hands were cheap but I found the hands acceptable as the clock is mounted about 10 feet above the floor and out of reach. I applied a wash of burnt umber that help antique the clock a little more. This also helped the better match our décor.
