Design Toscano The Palmistry Hand Sculpture

I also have another palmistry hand I bought from your company years ago, along with the phrenology head. I love them all, but the new one I just got is more detailed and came with a smart little booklet that had information I did not have already! It brings even more to the table. I love this purchase. But I have never been disappointed yet with anything I have gotten from DT. Which is why I am still buying lovely items from your company almost 20 years later.

This is a very nice looking sculpture, it sits on my mantle. I have a palmistry book, so I thought this would be a helpful tool. I am delighted to have found it.

Think of this mostly as a decorative object. True palmistry is a highly advanced ancient science and takes years and tens of thousands of practice readings to master. This hand figure arouses curiosity in a beholder and can lead to interesting conversations. Compared to most other Design Toscano offerings I found this piece lacking in quality. The resin pouring is sloppy and marred in various ways. The clarity of line is also blurred a bit. The coloring is unenchanting. Yet it does bespeak of mystery and that arouses interest in guests.

The book is to small.. I traduce to Spanish and make more big the letters The color is perfect and the design.... I prefer more big size.

Beautiful workmanship, the only down side would be the very small print in the little book that came with the hand.

I purchased one of these sculptures for one of my coworkers... When the hand came out of the box, I was happy with the craftmanship. However, I was very disappointed at how small the printing was on the booklet. The printing on the booklet made the gift less enjoyable. I wish they could focus on the booklet as much as the sculpture itself.
