My Zippy The Dragon Mailbox Post Sleeve Statue is amazing! I plan on repurposing "Zippy" to be the official greeter at my front door. I was blown away with all the details and I loved adding colors to help make the statue 'pop'! As you can see, Zippy is the keeper of the dragon eggs! I plan on adding accent lights from the base of the statue for nighttime viewing.. This statue is outstanding and I highly recommend any dragon lover to add this to your collection.

We love Zippy and are the talk of the neighborhood. He was only up 10minutes before people started dropping in to look at him,ask questions or just say how awesome. I will be surrounding him with some black heirloom tomatoes and banksia roses for added wow factor.

Looks really good. The hole for the 4x4 pole could be a little bigger. Took some effort to get gim on. Also seemed kind of thin. Could see light in some areas. I was afraid.he would crack as I had to force him down the pole.

It does look very good, but the 4x4, which appeared to be perfectly straight, did not slide right through. I had to file down about 1/4" of material from a small 1/2" x 1/2" area for it to fit. Disappointing, but not a big deal - only took about 5 min to fix up.

We bought this a week ago and we LOVE it! We are the envy of the neighborhood! This statue mailbox cover, is really solid! We put it over our existing post and bought a new mailbox to complete the set!

I bought Zippy several years ago and he has become an icon/landmark in the neighborhood. We get so many compliments from young and old alike. I’m sad to say that someone backed into him over the weekend...he has been battled wounded. He is missing an arm, have the pieces. If he can’t be fixed, I will definitely order another

I bought Zippy, and renamed him George. Has been guarding our mail box for over a decade. He is just started to show some wear. Plan on taking him out of duty for some clean up. Any suggestions on cleaning and or painting? Our house would not be the same without him. The kids in the neighborhood have always loved him.

This dragon is a great sentry for mail. I have used him for over 10 years and had to buy a new one due to damage of him falling over in a storm due to my failure to secure him. Original one has now been moved into house for repair and the new one put on a more secure stand on porch. I am sure if he were placed on a post secured in the ground he would stand guard for decades. Well made and crafted.

Zippy is great but moved to Fl and he won’t fit in. I would love a Dolphin of this material or a Manatee. If you plan to add additional animals especially a dolphin, I plan to be the first to order.

I bought Zippy as a house warming gift for my son, I live in an in-law addition on the house and my son and my X-wife live in the main house. My son loves Zippy and the X thinks its horrible she now gets her mail at a post office box I’m so happy that that I bought Zippy. PS the neighbors think Zippy is GREAT

I really like my dragon mailbox it looks great. The one thing that I didn't like was the multiple bumps on the inside of him. It made it hard to center the post so we unfortunately had to take a small dremel and carefully remove them without ruining the sculpter.

Just set him up yesterday he is holding the house number plate. I painted his eyes to bring him to life. All my neighbors comment on how cool he is. I got the mailbox from Lowes that matches nicely. I didn't have any problems setting it up, the 4x4 went in fine without any manipulation.

I've had my eye on this for a while, but never purchased it as I thought it would not look/be as nice as in the picture and/or shipping would be a hassle. Silly me, I have never been disappointed by Design Toscano orders before. I went ahead and purchased it and could not be happier. We just love our mailbox now. He looks like a real statue. Its made of very sturdy material. We get lots of compliments from our neighbors on him! It arrived in a timely manner and was packed very well.
