A: Hey there! This product was reformulated in 2015 to remove inactive ingredients including BHA, Methylparaben and water. We also added Glycerin, Sorbitan sesquioleate, Beeswax and Tocopheryl acetate. Thanks for asking!

I purchased DESITIN® Maximum Strength Original Zinc Oxide Paste to combat my baby's usual diaper rash. I appreciate the high concentration of zinc oxide which made for a significant protective barrier. However, it's very thick and not so easy to apply, they really mean it when they say it's a rich paste! I also noticed that it's not very comfortable for my baby, a bit too sticky. So, it works, but it's not my favorite product.

Cream helps get a get rid of diaper rash immediately. Can tell us instant relief on the child. The texture is smooth. The packaging is clean and the value is worth it. The unscented makes it even better.

It has talc and fragrance which I’m not a fan of. On top of it having fragrance it still smells like fish from the cod liver oil. If you’re looking for something without those you can go to the dollar tree and they have a maximum strength diaper rash cream with everything Destin has except it doesn’t contain the talc and fragrance. Works better at a cheaper price without the smell!

This Desitin Maximum Strength has eased the pain of many baby butts in this house. This has always been my go to. Paraben free is a huge plus. No scent to this formula. The texture is smooth but very thick which is helpful when it comes to rushes. Enriched with zinc oxide for healing. Excellent diaper rush cream.
