Q: I need this to be with NO aloe. Recently Dial Soap replaced this product with a new one which includes aloe, which gives me headaches. Can you guarantee me this is the older product without aloe?

The new aloe formula literally stinks and does not lather like the non-aloe version. You are forcing me to go with another brand. Bring back the original formula.
COVID era and now comparison

I have a big refill bottle of the orange anti bacterial liquid soap and small pump bottle left over and stamped of date of production in the height of COVID. I put them both side by side with the same product of 2025 production dated bottles and you can clearly tell the 2025 production dated bottles looked like they were watered down compared to the COVID dated bottles. Hand washing comparison was 2 pumps of COVID dated bottles had tremendous amount of cleaning and foam compared to 2025 dated bottles with 2 pumps and hardly to any foaming and poorly cleaning of your hands. Love the product but glad I had a comparison of a few years apart! Product should be consistent from 1st day of production.
Nope.

My doctor (dermatologist)recommended it to be used 2xday. It irritated my skin. By the end of the week my skin was burning and peeling. I considered a trip to the ER, but was able to see my doctor who treated it w hypochlense antiseptic skin cleanser, saline wash, and mupirocin ointment 2x day for 2 weeks. I am now back to normal. Evidently some individuals r unable to use certain soaps. Dial liquid antibacterial dis not work for me...too harsh. Sorry.

Go back to old formula!! I used this soap for YEARS to heal my tattoos and I loved it. Now I can’t use this! It’s sad a company has to change a good thing after many years and ruin it! There was nothing wrong with the old formula!

Why does all dial gold have aloe now! It was my go to for tattoo after care. It’s no longer good for tattoos as aloe is bad for the color of tattoos.

Not tattoo safe anymore. Adding the aloe makes it unusable! I always used dial gold but now that changed the formula I have to try and find another option which is hard. I don’t know who thought this was a good formula change but they need to be fired. Or atleast make one without aloe still.

It weirdly separates as you start to massage it into your hands and it tends to splatter around the sink and leaves “stains”.
Not as good as it use to be.

IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT FIX IT! DIAL GOLD HAS BEEN THE ONLY SOAP I CAN USE THAT DOESNT MAKE MY HANDS BREAK OUT (ESPECIALLY NOW THAT DAWN ORIGINAL HAS ALSO CHANGED THEIR FORMULA). I NOTICED THE ADDITION OF ALOE ON THE PACKAGE BUT DECIDED TO TRY IT ANYWAYS. AFTERALL, ITS ALOE, HOW BAD CAN IT BE? WITHIN A DAY OF USE MY HANDS ARE RED AND BLISTERED AND I NO LONGER CAN USE THIS PRODUCT. NOT TO MENTION ITS THE ONLY THING TATTOO ARTISTS RECCOMEND FOR AFTER CARE. THATS OUT THE WINDOW TOO NOW. SO DISAPPOINTED.

I have always used gold dial soap during my tattoo healing process because it doesn’t contain any scents/ moisturizers. The addition of aloe has made this product unusable, it’s extremely unfortunate because some tattoo artists that have been recommending this soap for decades can’t do so anymore with the addition of aloe. Aloe completely wrecks the healing process. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA!!!

Dial Gold has been my go-to soap for years because it is the only one carried by major retailers that does not include the allergen cocamidopropyl betaine. Now it has the allergen aloe vera and I’m going to have to change soaps. Do you have any products left without either?

New, cheap, plastic pump top

I’m 77 years old and I have used various disk soap products for years. I guess inflation got you but your pump soap top takes the prize for a piece of junk. The last 3 pump soaps each had a cheap pump, hard to push down, and pinches my hand. A child could never use this now; and I’m switching brands too for an easier pump top - those that actually work. Shame on you for cutting this corner with pump tops that don’t push down or work.

Why did you change the formula. Dial Gold was the only soap I use that doesn’t make my hands or body itch. Have been using it as a body wash too for 14 years. Always left my skin clean and moisturized. Now my hands itch and I don’t dare use it to shower with. Bring back the old formula.
