Q: How on earth do you open these new pumps? I used to just turn the top of the pump and it would spring up and be ready for use. The new ones aren't working.

A: I have the same problem. I do exactly what they say to do and what this person said to do  and it does not work so thank God I have the old bottle and I just add the new one into the old bottle so that I can have a pump but they really do need to fix this because regardless if it has arrows or not it's obvious to turn it because always tidy lefty loosey that hasn't changed the only thing that has changed is the quality and that's why it's not working.

There has been times where I even get a knife and pop it open and at times I'm successful that way but other then that it's useless. They really need to fix it.
submitted byJennifer - 11 months agoA: The new bottle has no arrows or anything to indicate how to use the pump. After taking it completely apart I figured out it requires you to reattach the pieces to engage the soap "suction"
submitted byMT - 2 years agoA: Thank you for your interest in Dial. To open, hold the neck of the pump in place and turn the top counterclockwise. There is an arrow on the top of the container showing which way to turn the top. Hope this is helpful.

Even though the one person replied that had to take the whole bottle apart and do whatever she said and it would work I’m sorry, but that’s too much work for us to do. We should be able to twist it and it should be able to come out. I’m gonna buy it one more time and if I still have a problem, sorry no more Dial!

A: Yess thank goodness it isn’t just me! I finally just took the pump off after wasting 10 minutes turning and turning and just squeezed some out till my boyfriend fixed it.

I have used for years with no issues! It was the only body wash I could use and now I am not able to do that as there is something that was added in that has cause contact dermatitis. Sadly I have to now use bar soap as it does not cause this issue and is still antibacterial 🙄 please go back to the original formula!

While does does smell nice and refreshing, it completely dried out my skin and gave me a rash. For reference, I have never gotten rashes . I would post a picture but don’t know if they would still allow my comment. This rash is inches long down my leg and super itchy. The reason why I even switched body soaps is because this soap is in a Pregnancy Safe list. I am not pregnant but we are currently TTC so currently trying to find products that are safer. Obviously this isn’t one for me.

New stuff is awful -- why did you do this?? Must be cheaper ingredients. It feels and smells cheaper. Not nearly as thick and robust as the original, which made good lather. This is thin and doesn't lather well at all. Then there is the smell -- more like bathroom cleaner than the wonderful original fragrance. Why Dial? WHY?? - A Sad Formerly Loyal Customer

Have been using this product for many years. The new packaging has a pump on the bottle. 946ml I’ve purchased this twice about 3 months apart at different retail outlets. The pump hasn’t worked either time. Had to transfer soap into the old container to use. Anyone else have this problem? Where can I buy this product in the original bottles 473 ml in Calgary AB

It doesn't make you feel clean either. Why on earth would you change something that didn't need to be changed. I wil no longer buy your products. It took me years to finally find a body wash that I could use and love. Please bring the old formula back so us sensitive skin customer's can use. I see all the reviews the one's that gave 5 stars are the one's that got a free sample. Of course they are gonna like it. It's free. Grrrrr..I would have given 0 stars if I could.

If you know how to open a shampoo/body wash pump, you won’t have an issue! Despite the comments saying the pump doesn’t work, — it did, just needed to *pop* the pump up so I could then dispense the product. I wanted to give this body wash a try, it’s a very clean, fresh, light smelling very foaming wash. I wouldn’t say it’s the most hydrating feeling, but it’s not drying. Doesn’t aggravate my sensitive skin, and it’s non-comedogenic!!! 🤩 Overall 10/10 for me! Highly Recommend — dry/sensitive/acne prone girly approved!!! 💯
