Description
Differin Detox + Soothe 2-Step Treatment Mask is a multi-benefit treatment formulated to help reduce excess oils, minimize the appearance of pores and improve overall skin clarity for all skin types, including acne sufferers. Each step offers a sensorial experience. Step 1 is a self-warming formula made of Kaolin Clay, Hectorite and HotFlux to open up the pores, draw out impurities, absorb excess surface oils and soothe the skin. After 3 minutes, rinse off and follow with Step 2: a cooling gel formula designed to soothe the skin, enhance hydration and reduce the appearance of redness with Blue Tansy Oil, Allantoin and Licorice Extract. If desired, step 2 can be left on all day for continued absorption. For best results, Differin recommends using this 2-step treatment up to 3 times per week. This product is paraben-free, noncomedogenic (won’t clog pores) and dermatologist tested. Can be used in conjunction with Differin Adapalene Gel 0.1% and a moisturizer, after completing both steps of the mask treatment.

if big pore or blackhead. i would definenitely recommend trying. it has clena my pores out and made them smaller. cooling does make face ltitle bit more grease but i know how to fix it. I have liquid toner that helps keeps oil under control.

Conceptually, I like the two step process with the 3 minute mask and the overnight gel. I was not prepared for the sensations of the mask though! It's hot and kind of stingy. On one hand, it makes me feel like it's doing something, but on the other, I just don't enjoy it. The cooling gel feels really great though it does have a strong minty scent. That doesn't bother me but I can see it being an issue for others. Afterwards my skin definitely felt great! I'll give it a few more tries but on the fence with this.

The Differin Detox + Soothe 2-Step Mask will be a great addition to skin care routines as long as you do not have sensitive skin. The container is perfect for the 2 products. The white product creates a really warm and burning type of sensation. Do not leave it longer then the 3 minutes. The blue product is very cooling and once it's put on it takes away the stinging of the previous product.

I then applied the gel and it brought all the moisture back , great product and I definitely recommend it

This product didn't do that after one use, but I feel confident that if I continue using it that it is likely to happen. So, this will not become a go to product for me. If you don't react to beauty products in this manner though, I suspect this will work well for it's purpose. The cooling gel was quite nice feeling and my skin did seem "refreshed" after. Too bad that I can't use this ongoing. I'll keep looking.

I now know that chemical peels are not for me! That is what I imagine would feel like this mask. It burned so badly that I could barely stand to rinse it off! I use the Differin gel and I've used warming masks and have never experienced something like this before. User beware!
