Diono Everett NXT Rigid Latch High Back Booster Car Seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mad love for the Everett NXT. It keeps the kid nice and snuggly in her car seat. And she loves using the seatbelt for the first time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not to bash the company but to make them aware that they get better with building these car seats. My complaint is that it doesnt come with a strap on the back to tie it down behind the seat. The latches that it does have, allow the car seat to wobble side to side and has too much play in my belief. My kids safety is #1 and the way this seat is built is not safe to me and my kids.

Not as much padding as other boosters

The Everett NXT booster is a solid, high quality seat with a slim design and fits perfectly in my 2017 VW Golf. My daughter says it’s comfortable and loves that she can unbuckle herself!

Like the slim profile and the head support.

My oldest just had to make the switch to a booster so we got him this one for his birthday and it’s very nice. He loves the plum color and I love how easy and secure the install is. He’s had no problem buckling himself in but he is also very long limbed so take that into account. I could definitely see how it might be more difficult for a child with shorter arms to get themselves buckled but overall we are very very happy with this seat!

Bought this for my 7 yr old to replace a 5-pt harness that was involved in a car wreck (and that he was on the verge of outgrowing anyways). I really wanted to love this seat because of it's narrow design and great height limits as my kid has always been 100% for height (but still needs high back design as he is not quite mature enough for a NBB), and because I have to fot 6 kids in my vehicle, need the narrow width of seats/boosters. However, the way the headwings and red belt guide are designed on the Everett model, it causes the seatbelt to rub my son's neck awfully. This of course isn't tolerated by my son (I can imagine any kid that would love the neck rubbing raw). I REALLY REALLY wish diono would keep the narrow width of this booster but re-design the headrest wings so the belt doesn't rub on the neck so badly.

Good quality carseat.

When my son outgrew his 5 point car seat we had I knew I needed to find a booster that was still going to keep him safe while giving us room in the back seat. After receiving it and installing it I’m in love. He fits so well in it and it’s so slim. I will be purchasing a 5 point car seat for my other son to replace the one he’s currently in.

I'm sure the protection is great. My kids can't buckle themselves with how wide this is and with the armrests.
