[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great seat for my 18 month old. I got another three harness booster and a no back booster to fit 3 across in an Acura MDX.

Purchased these car seats for my 4 year olds so that we could have an additional adult sit in the back seat (when grandmother comes to town). We just took a 12 hour round trip vacation and everyone was comfortable! Wish I would have bought years ago!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Diono car seat purchase. The first one was for great granddaughter #1. I could not let great granddaughter #2 have second rate car seat so I purchased one for her. These car seats are by far superior to any product I have seen.

Ordering nightmare, but happy with the Car seat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered because he maxed out rear facing in his old car seat and I wanted to continue rear facing! He loves the color, and he likes the car seat because in his words “it’s a booster seat!!” I read reviews about issues installing but we had zero problems with install, it was actually really easy. I did have to purchase the angle adjuster and that makes all the difference! I would just assume buy it because you’ll probably need it. (Do I think it should be included with the car seat purchase? probably but it’s not, so order it too!). My only issue with the cup holder is we have it on the left side by the door because his brothers car seat is in the middle. The cupholder is kind of awkward and has gotten knocked out of the hole a few times. Seems like it was probably an after thought, but at least it has one! The car seat is on the heavy side but it won’t be leaving my car so I don’t mind.
On a different note ordering off the website was a nightmare, I ended up on the phone with customer service at least 3 or 4 times. First order got canceled because the other shade of blue was out of stock. Then I could no longer order off the website. Every time I would click purchase it would say “item in cart has updated, refresh cart and try again” finally after many frustrating attempts and days later, I just had customer service order the car seat for me.
Once it finally got ordered it did ship fast, so I’m thankful for that. I will order more in the future when my other baby outgrows his infant seat! Anyway, 5 stars for the car seat and 1 star for the ordering nightmare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After months of reviewing car seats that would best fit in my new car. I chose the Diono Radian 3R Safe Plus. I also purchased a Diono backless booster and to say I’m obsessed with both is an understatement. The seat quality of both is amazing. Both my children are comfortable and have more than enough room in their seats. Diono is an amazing brand!

Seat is awesome and comfy according to my 4yo. However; be aware that if your child sleeps, this seat is not sleep friendly. Their head constantly falls fwd.
Seat does not secure well in volvo xc60 so be wary of that. Moves front to back and side to side too much even after installing according to diono install. I will not rate below 4 stars because I've had diono seats thru 3 children and I think this Seat and my car are not 100% compatible.

First time Diono customer and CPST

My kids have been in Clek products for almost 10 years. Our Fllo was expiring so I put my daughter in our Clek Oobr booster, then went through CPST certification training where I realized with great conviction she really needed to stay in a harness seat longer. Clek doesn’t make a harness seat that can be a booster, AND their seats are almost egregiously expensive. But I got to work with Dionos several times in training and knew they were sturdy and crash tested very well. I was impressed by the price, love that I can keep her in a harness longer, and that the same seat can be her booster when she’s ready for that. Additionally, I found it much, much, much faster and easier to install than our old Clek. I like that the padding can be moved to reach through and see the seatbelt. Doing a seatbelt install on our Fllo always made me feel like I was gonna break my wrist. I don’t mean to hard on Clek. It was a trustworthy and sturdy product while we had it. But the Diono has been so much more user friendly. I also love that the padding is easily removable and replaceable if I need to wash it, the head rest is simple to adjust, and my daughter is very comfortable in it. I am so glad the cup holder not only comes with it but is removable (sometimes it just doesn’t fit if we have a full back seat in my narrow car). When we had Clek, every single little thing that has come standard with our Diono was an extra expensive accessory purchase. This Diono can fold up for travel - as a former flight attendant I love and appreciate this. We travel a lot and I’ll be interested to see how easy it is to fly with. Two other things we like: all the colors cost the same price. When I was looking at other all-in-ones with different brands there was a price hike for some colors. With Diono’s color options and fair pricing I was able to let my daughter pick which color she wanted which was a great motivation to get her excited about going back into a harness after her short taste of freedom in a booster. Also the pricing was so much more accessible than our previous investment that I was able to afford two of the same seat - one for each of our cars. Finally, the shipping wasn’t only free, both seats arrived the day after I ordered them. I am all in all very impressed with both the seat, the pricing, and the company. Thanks Diono!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very sturdy seat (obviously) and way more comfortable than its predecessor! Definitely gives me peace of mind and I appreciate the multiple levels, especially with my son running in the 90th percentile since he was born. Heavy but folds to be travel friendly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The foam on the head rest broke after a month. This seat is for my step daughter who we get 3 times a week so it's not even used regularly. The 3 in a row isn't easy to fit in a row the middle careseat took some extra tricks to get it to be secure. I do like the back compartment that stores all the extra straps. Overall I don't recommend and won't be purchasing another.

I made the mistake of not realizing how heavy this carseat is before purchasing it. I unfortunately got very excited when I saw it could fold and saw reviews noting that it was good for air travel. When the box arrived I had a hard time carrying it into the house. It is very heavy, at this point it is heavier than my 16 month old. I was looking for a travel car seat to use for international travel that would be easier to maneuver when also thinking about traveling with my child, a stroller, bags, etc. Im sure this would be fine if it was left in a car but no way this would be easy to carry around an airport. There are no free returns so not only do I have to now lug this thing back to fedex but I need to pay to ship it back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seat (and its predecessor that we bought for our first seat) have served us well so far! We now have one rear facing for an almost 2 year old and forward facing for the big 4 year old. They are always comfy and love their seats. We move them often between our two vehicles and install them with seat belts and rarely have an issue. The easy access to the belt paths helps a lot.
What we don't like is how tall they are for rear facing. But we did just realize we could use the angle adjuster, so we will be trying that next! And that will help. But it's something to be aware of. Also the use instructions are more fiddly than other seats. Use the extra strap sometimes, use the extra seat cushion sometimes, etc. You have to pay attention.
We also recently took both seats through the airport and they were a dream. We got carts to wheel the seats on and use like strollers in the airport. Wheeled them onto the plane and down the aisle *with* kids sitting in them, then installed on the plane for a comfy ride. We will absolutely do it again, it made the trip so much easier. They're heavy and a little cumbersome but was worth it. The flight attendants were surprised the seats fit in the aisle.
We do not regret our purchase! They're a good fit for our family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always love these car seats. We have purchased 5 of them for multiple vehicles. These are the only seats I recommend to others and feel safe with my kids in! Also love how slim they are for any car! I do wish the rear facing option was not as tall..it does make it hard for the person in the front seat to sit unless they are very short.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll mention the cons because everything else is great. The cupholder is slightly awkward, the position of it, how it sits, the angle it's at is also hard to reach sometimes for my 4yo. I'm not sure how id improve it but if I had to nitpick.. Also I watched the YouTube video for the install and it still isn't as tight as id like. I'm doing the shake test from the corner like they said to do and it still seems loose to me. Tight enough to be safe but still feels it's more loose than it should be. The color seemed a bit lighter on the site, I purposely bought some "sky blue" interior accessories for my vehicle so they would match but even the lighter parts of the seat are slightly darker than shown on site.

It is very hard in my 2023 MDX to get a good fit on the belt path with only 1” movement at the belt path.
It feels too loose. It does for three across.

Slim fit for tight cars - hard to clean

The size is perfect with the slim fit for smaller cars. I was very excited to receive the seat and get it installed with no little feet kicking behind me! Overall the car seat is on the heavy side from others I've used but not relevant as I love the fit. Unfortunately I have a kid who gets motion sickness and I needed to remove the cover day 1 to wash it. I will say that this was a very difficult and frustrating process getting the cover off. I have not been able to attempt getting it back on because during that process I missed removing a piece of foam that broke to pieces in the wash. I had to order a new piece before I can re-assemble. So at this time I am un-able to use the car seat until it arrives. Having the seat reliant on this piece of foam is a con for me.

Diono Radian 3R SafePlus: A Triple-Threat Solution for Parents

As a mom of triplets, finding the perfect car seat solution for my little ones has always been a top priority. When I recently switched from the Radian 3R to the new Diono Radian 3R SafePlus, I was absolutely blown away by the improvements and innovations that Diono has brought to the table. This car seat is a game-changer for parents of multiples and anyone who needs to fit three car seats across their vehicle.
One of the standout features of the Diono Radian 3R SafePlus is the 12-position headrest, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer. The ability to adjust the headrest to the perfect position not only ensures the safety of my kids but also provides a level of comfort that's unmatched. Long car rides with my little ones are now a breeze, and those precious moments when they fall asleep in the car have become even more peaceful.
But comfort and safety aren't the only reasons to love the Diono Radian 3R SafePlus. This car seat is designed with an array of safety features that go above and beyond industry standards. It boasts a steel-reinforced frame, EPS foam for side-impact protection, and a five-point harness system that ensures my kids are secure and snug. As a parent, these safety features bring immense peace of mind.
When it comes to fitting three car seats across in my van, the Diono Radian 3R SafePlus is a lifesaver. Gone are the days of struggling to fit three car seats side by side, and this car seat's space-saving design is a real blessing for parents with multiple young children.
The Diono Radian 3R SafePlus also comes with a machine-washable cover, making cleanup a breeze. Trust me, with triplets, I appreciate anything that makes my life a little easier, and this feature does just that.
The Diono Radian 3R SafePlus is a dream come true for parents of multiples. It's a car seat that not only keeps your children safe but also provides a level of comfort and convenience that's truly exceptional. I highly recommend the Diono Radian 3R SafePlus to any parent looking for a car seat that combines safety, comfort, and the ability to fit three across with ease. It's a must-have for parents on the go!

I chose Diono for its safety ratings and because I like how heavy it is. I also like the 3-across feature. While I wouldn’t change my mind or purchase another car seat, I do find that this version feels deeper when rear facing. I have a bit of a blind spot due to the size of the car seat when rear facing. Otherwise love it!
