[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thin but sizable and very comfortable car seat. Installation was easy as well. I drive an Acura RDX and it is a tight squeeze with my two other kids, one of which is in a booster, but it does fit, just don’t expect to tilt it back much if you too drive an RDX. We followed the suggestions of purchasing the foam riser block to gain more foot space up front, but it did not make a difference in that area for my 6’1 husband. I don’t regret the riser block purchase despite this because it does level out the car seat and allows the little ones to actually see out of the window instead of just looking up at the clouds. My baby feels very safe in this car seat, and he appears to be very comfortable.

Definitely an adjustment from an infant car seat with a base. We purchased from Diono as a reference from multiple family members who swear by it. At installation, you'd wonder why, and I'm sure for how long this product will last that it may be appreciated more. For how it sits less firm and while still digging more into the seat cushion compared to what we had, not super enthused but baby loves it and mama is happy. . .

I LOVE our diono. I had diono for my older children (14&12 now) and when I found out about our surprise baby I knew we were getting a diono. We've had our baby in it since he was 6 months old. He's a very chunky/ tall boy and he fits comfortably. I love the angle adjuster too for his seat behind me. I'm 6'1", so my seat has to be all the way back! My big kids don't mind sitting next to his car seat and all 3 ride comfortably in the back row when our whole family goes out. I love how it folds up for easy transport on and off an airplane. I love knowing it has added safety features like the rebound bar. I love the extended rear facing limits. My big boy will be in this until he reaches max weight/ height for each stage, then we'll be upgrading to a diono booster.

Super easy set up and install. Very easily adjustable and comfortable for our son. Rear facing the seat is roomy and long so it's a really great option if you're someone who wants to rear face as long as possible but gets worried about kiddo being cramped. It does need a lot of clearance rear facing, it extends farther over the foot well than other seats we've used so maybe not ideal if you have a tight back seat. However it's very slim and leaves a lot more room on the backseat itself so it's a trade off. And the fact that it extends farther is because it sits the kid in a more comfortable position for them than other seats. Forward facing there's no problem, just the convenience of how slim it is! In general it is more focused on child comfort with extra cushion and leg room and an ultra adjustable headrest so that's a nice upgrade. Our son has been very happy with it and it's been easy for us to use in rear face and from what I can tell forward facing it'll be even better.

I have now had this car seat for 11 months. At first i was hesitant because it is so different from other car seats we have tried, but my son loves it and so do we. Safety is so very important, and I like knowing my son is safe and comfortable in his car seat. best car seat we have used hands down. Also the fabric has held up so well compared to the other one we have (that we paid way too much for).

We picked the Diono carseat because we were looking for a safe car seat with a narrow profile to fit three across and a cup holder. All the safety features are definitely an added bonus, we feel good about how protected our child will be! The car seat is definitely very heavy, but we don't plan to move it around so it's not a big deal. The install wasn't too hard, and my husband really liked that the bottom is flat so the weight distributes nicely and won't dent the actual car's seat. The carseat seems comfortable for my 2.5 year old. Definitely an upgrade from our old safety 1st. Priced well and highly recommend. P.S. Diono naming system is sooooo confusing. Could you please make it simpler to understand? I provided this honest and true product review in exchange for a rebate on my purchase.

We bought this for our Tesla and while it fits well and it’s slender, it’s a huge pain to install in a Tesla. It’s very tall and does not offer a lot of space for rear facing. Now that I have a larger vehicle (Honda pilot) it’s still very tall and doesn’t allow us to put it anywhere other than the center because we cannot push the front seats back far enough for my 6’ husband to be able to sit in front of the seat in either car. You still have to rethread the harness which you’d figure for the price you would not have to do that. Not easy to adjust the angle for different style cars. I got it on sale and for the same price I could have gotten something much more user friendly. Also, when it came time to wash the cover it was a huge pain and did not go back on the same. Overall, I would not buy this seat again.

I’m sure all the safety features add to that but most women, including grandmothers, cannot lift that confidently. It would be nice if it was able to stay vertical when sitting outside the car instead of flopping down. A handle to easily carry the heavy seat would be handy and more stable cup holders. I originally purchased it hoping my three year olds head wouldn’t hang when sleeping because of all the support but it continues to be an issue that may not be avoidable. I would not purchase this item again but I like the brand and would try a different model in the future.

I got this as a replacement for the Rainier after an accident. It doesn't feel a sturdy as the Rainier. But I like how easy it is to adjust the headrest. The back is a very clean look. It doesn't have all the belts and buckles hanging out. The chest buckle feels a bit flimsy and thin compared to the Rainier. Also, it easily moves when buckling my kid. So if my kid were to move a lot, I don't know if the chest buckle will migrate away from where it was intended to be.

I bought this car seat for my 2yr old daughter in November 2023. It is a great car seat! Easy to install and the purple color is absolutely gorgeous! The only downside is the cup holder. It does not stay in place at all, would be so much better with a cup holder that doesn't come off! Very easy to install and my daughter loves it!
