Discovery Kids LED Infrared Controlled (RC) Tarantula Spider

Bought for my nephew but played with it before I gave it to him!! Had to get use to remote but once I did , was easy to use Fun for adults too!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved this toy. It was the best thing ever to him for sooo long and he loved to show his friends outside. It even got wet a few times and still worked perfectly but my dog hated it. son would play, the dog would hide and bark. and then eventually he chewed it up in the middle of the night.

I like how it moves in a spider movement and how its eyes are LED lights. This tarantula is awesome! The quality is good and durable. The fun with this spider lasts hours!

Our pets have also enjoyed watching and chasing it around our home! The remote control is easy to use and the tarantula runs well on both hard and carpeted floors. I would definitely recommend this unique remote control toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My six year old daughter is bug obsessed and loves observing crawling creepy critters. I was so excited to surprisr her with the RC Tarantula. It was an instant hit with her and surprisingly the entire family. The Tarantula is pretty big, larger than my hand and in my opinion pretty life like. There are little wheels on the bottom which let the spider move around in all directions, including backwards. Another cool feature is the free motion mode which allows the spider to move around independently. I love that the remote control is super easy to use, my six year old figured it out without any help from myself or my husband. If you have an Arachnid loving kid , this would make to perfect gift.

After patiently waiting for me to get it ready for them, the fun began. They played with it for hours. It’s always nice to find something that the three of them enjoy together.

Moves like a tarantula and even though it’s way bigger than a real one, looks like it. If you didn’t know and hear it coming (it is a bit loud) you’d think it was real for a split second. Does take batteries for both the tarantula and controller but worth it to see my sons reaction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We enjoyed the RC toy tarantula and it is much bigger than expected. We dimmed the lights to see the bright red eyes. It takes AAA batteries in the wireless controller and in the spider. I charged it up some and it was good to go. The movements are believable to spiders movements. It prompted us to look up facts about tarantulas in general and about the big Goliath bird eating type too. I told my family about it and may take it to visit relatives and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spider is pretty cool! My children have enjoyed it quite a bit! The remote is easy to use and operate. The spider responds well. It is quick moving. It can be noisy (no sneaking up on anyone). Unfortunately, at times, the spider will just stop working (after 10-15 mins of play). All batteries are new and lights on remote and spider are operational. After waiting a few hours, one of my kids happen tough the remote and it just started moving again. Maybe it just takes breaks in-between? It is fun, but the only downside is that it just stops working and starts again at odd times.

The instructions were clear and installing the batteries was easy enough. It does take quite a few so be prepared for that, but it responds well to the remote and scuttles across the floor pretty rapidly. Overall it's a fun toy and I'd recommend it. My son is happy with it

My daughter also loves it because it keeps my grandson entertained for hours. Only thing i didnt like, it was VERY HARD to open it to place batteries. Other than that..I LOVED IT.

So far even with it being played with nonstop name brand batteries have not had to be switched out yet. My only complaint is it makes a clicking noise.

They have not tore it up yet and I am surprised. The toy is very lifelike and gets them to want to learn about spiders. I am very pleased with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rc tarauntula is a great gift for any big loving boy or girl. The fact that it looks super real is what caught my sons attention. The toy tarauntula moves just like the real thing. It is super easy to maneuver around that he was able to start using it all by himself. It does need batteries on the tarauntula and the remote. He’s been playing with it non stop and the batteries haven’t gave out yet. It even has light on its eyes which is a plus for night time playing. My daughter however was scared of it because of how real it looks. This toy is perfect for a insect loving boy or girl. Who love to play or even have a pet spider.
