I have gotten this target brand cold sore medicine for about 4-5 years now because it was clear and discrete when healing my cold sore. I got it today, and what the heck Target?!!! Why did you change it to white?!!! Now I feel ashamed and embarrassed to have cold sores when it's not my fault it was hereditary! PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK TO CLEAR!!! I just spend $26 on medicine that makes me look stupid and unhygienic. If I wanted this, I would have switched back to Abreva. CHANGE IT BACK TO CLEAR, PLEASE!!!

I developed a cold sore on my lip. I rushed to target to find a treatment for it. This is my first time trying this product and I am very happy I got it. I've been using it 1 day 1/2 and my cold sore has drastically gotten better. The product states it reduces healing time and it really does! I recommend it over Abreva!

Highly recommend using this at the FIRST signs of a cold sore. I used it along with an oral prescription and I’d say it work really well to dry it out! I am not sure how it works without an oral medication as well though! The tubes may seem small but it lasts a long time!

Abreva lost the patent but lots of people keep paying extra for no reason for the same product! Abreva is just Docosanol 10% cream - there's no reason to pay more. I apply once every few hours or so when I first start to feel that tingling/burning on my lip and it prevents the cold sores from even forming when I catch it that early. If you've ever had a cold sore have this stuff on hand so you can nip any cold sores in the bud!

I have used so many different products for cold sores through the years, but nothing has ever worked like this. To be transparent, I also take lysine supplements, which helps a lot, but a topical cream is always needed to fully combat. I started this product immediately when I noticed a cold sore appearing and applied a few times a day. I am on Day 4 with the cold sore never fully developing. I keep applying and taking lysine to combat, but this has, hands-down, been the easiest cold sore pop up. Dries quickly, works amazingly. Package comes in a 2-pack, which is great. I still have a half of a tube left and haven’t even opened the additional. Will never be without it, to be honest.

Works just as well as the brand name but is significantly less pricey. It dried my cold sore in about 3 days and was strong enough to work but not harsh. I will definitely buy again if needed and recommend this to anyone who is looking to get rid of a cold sore fast!
