Making sure the alcohol to mix ratio is correct is the only thing I need to get used to because if it isn t, it will cease. It worked well when we tried it with juice as well. The machine is heavy.

There are some exceptions to this rule. If you don t follow the directions and don t use any diet products, it won t freeze. It will not work for you if you or someone else believes that something should be frozen. Sodas and diet juices have a substantially lower freezing point than slushi. Simply read the directions. There is a reason they are there. Additionally, be patient; it takes time.

I think my choice of slushy maker was incorrect. I assumed that if you plugged it in and it went on, the slushy would stay frozen, but it just looks cheap, and what s the point if I have to constantly adding ice to keep it cold? I had no idea that you had to continuously add ice, like in an ice cream maker.

Fantastic for the entire family! Using pre-made drinks is simple. If you are making your own drink recipe, such as a margarita, be sure to add water as instructed. When we tested it without water, it wouldn t slush; however, when we added water, it worked flawlessly!
