When you look at this pillow and feel it in your hands, it seems like a good quality pillow with excellent loft and just the right balance of softness and firmness. I had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately, I couldn't even go a full hour on this one before I had to swap it out for an old one. It was just too lumpy and strangely uncomfortable. Returned.

It’s an OK pillow but I’m disappointed in it’s firmness. I purchased the Downlite firm density pillows because I was so impressed with the pillows at the Whyndam hotels. They were firm and didn’t flatten out. Maybe they were a different model. At any rate I’m disappointed because they are not as firm as I hoped they would be.

We are on our 2nd set of these pillows. They are very comfortable. Not too firm, not too soft, and just the right height. We purchased the quilted covers also sold by Downlite, which make them even more luxurious, then top them off with silk pillowcases. Very happy customers!

I had great expectations for the pillow, but it's not as firm as I'd like. After about two nights, the pillow is flat again and it needs to be doubled up. Thought I'd found what I waned, but I'll need to continue looking.
