Dr. Bronner's Shave Soap - Unscented - 7 fl oz

I was amazed at this shaving soap. It gave me the most easy shave ever and exceeded my expectations. My only comment is the packaging...it's hard to dispense the right amount without it spilling out. But that won't stop me from buying it again...it's a winner for me!

I expected more from Dr. Bronner. I couldn't stand even looking at the dark brown slimy mess that poured from the tube. I expected a creamy white/ish substance. This is NOT for me.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. It’s just the soap repackaged in a very inappropriate tube. It’s so liquidy, that it spills everywhere as soon as you open it. It’s not creamy or foamy enough for a good shave. Honestly, the worst shave product I’ve ever tried.

I think the product is high quality, but I just didn't like it as a shave cream. It is very runny, to the point of going on my lips and into my mouth as I shaved. However, I did receive a clean and close shave. It left my face feeling pretty good afterward. But it left something to be desired since it did not leave it feeling very moisturized.

I love the clean ingredient listing on this but think the consistency is just awful! It is super liquidy and runny and the container is a bad choice for such. It just leaks out all over the place, a pump would've made a lot more sense. It also is far from unscented, though I don't completely hate the scent, I do find it fairly potent. I wish the user experience on this was better, because as mentioned the ingredients are great!

Very poor packaging. The product is a dark liquid and it oozes out of the bottle, and the lid doesn’t close all the way! Creates such a mess that it has to be stored wrapped up and upside down.

Excellent product but impossible packaging. Suggest a dispensing pump instead of tube.

A sticky and runny mess! Leaves my skin sticky to the point I almost can’t get the razor to work. Runs out of the bottle and leaks and drips.

This shaving oil provides a very smooth shave and leaves my face in great shape. It is a little messy to use. It is a little runny and can dispense quickly from the container when you squeeze the tube. It requires a little rubbing to provide a light lather on your face, but the razor glides smoothly.

This product is so messy. This should be in a pump bottle for starters. When using it just runs out of the bottle without even having to squeeze getting all over. And there is a slight scent to it. This has nothing to to do with the use of product, but the product is dark brown which I found a little alarming at first. I should have read reviews before purchasing.

Works well…but takes getting used to. I bought this for my husband and son to use. It works well, but was an adjustment from the foam they were used to from a standard commercial cream. I’m glad it works and they’ve adjusted since it allows them to avoid the chemicals listed in the standard shaving creams available.

I have a lot of allergies and have a very short “safe list” of products I can use. This shaving soap is on my list so I tried it and I absolutely love it. It leaves my legs feeling soft and smooth. There is a slight scent just from the ingredients and it’s wonderful. I can’t use anything with fragrance so having something with a slight but wonderful scent is a nice change for me. It reminds me of gingerbread cookies.

Best shave cream I've ever used. And it is a very pure product. Excellent

I tried this product and it was not a friendly experience. I guess my skin type and daily shaving have an impact on my experience. It has a sweet aroma and is very dark like molasses. All of Bonners other products i love.

I love DB products - use their regular liquid soap around the house all the time. But this product is a no-go for me. I expected something thick like a gel. But this is a very very thin liquid. I went to squeeze a little on my hand and it just ran all over the place. So you have to squeeze it into your hand - then try to rub it on your beard area that way. Just made a mess. Once it's on your face it's pretty much clear, so you really can't tell if you have really applied it everywhere. Which of course makes it hard to 'find your place' as you shave. I got unscented - which means it doesn't have scent added, but it doe smell between brown sugar and brown bread (I didn't mind, but it might be a challenge for you) I really wanted to like this, but it is so thin it's a non starter. Do not recommend.

Husband did not like. We are using it for hand soap s we don’t want to waste.

I’ve shaved for over 40 years. I’ve used shaving cream, gel and various other products. Bronners shave soap is my favorite. It produces a nice thick lather, that softens up my beard and makes shaving much smoother. Highly recommend
