This plastic transfer bench by Drive Medical accommodates any bathroom because of its reversible bench and extension legs with extra large suction cups that lock provide added versatility and safety. The "Dual Column" extension legs height adjust in 1/2" increments. Sturdy "A" frame construction, durable blow-molded plastic bench and backrest ensure maximum stability. It is wonderful. It allows me to get into the bathtub to take a shower. I broke my foot and was unable to step into the tub for my shower. Now I just slide across the bench. The only thing I don’t like is that the floor gets wet.

Great for person who needs shower chair. Easy for person to sit down then slide over bench into tub. Much safer than just a chair bench that sits within the tub with danger of slipping stepping into tub. Made well. Very easy to put together and adjust the height. The side grab bar can be on left or right side and the seat back also allows for placing on either side as well as center. Arrived 2 days.

Item delivered quickly (before estimated date). Great quality. Easy to assemble. However, a bit tall for mom (who is 5'2"). We have it set up at lowest level and she still needs to her on tip toes to be able to sit on it.

Why won't this chair fit over a 21.5 inch tub. you list it for 22.5 inch. Outside legs are at max length and if I level seat the out side legs are 1/2 inch off floor and bar lies tub but if I extend outside legs to 10 setting it gets over it but at a steep angle

I purchased the transfer seat bench for my mother in law and she is scared to death to use it as water gets all over the floor. She broke her femur via a slip and fall a few years back and freaked out when she saw how much water was on the floor. - What could be worse falling in the tub and on the slick floor after getting out of the shower.
