Drybar The Double Shot Oval Blow-Dryer Brush - Ulta Beauty

The last two replacements I ordered lasted less than 2 weeks before they started smoking and then shut off. I used to recommend this product to everyone, now I say look for a brand with better quality control.

I have 2 of the yellow drybar dryers and this HOT SHOT and these products are beast. I've had the blow dryer for 7 years and the hot shot since it came out. I've tried other brushdryers and none smooth the cuticles and leave the shine like the hot shot. Now, they need to make a rotating dryer brush!

I purchased the oval once and round x2. I have a short bob cut, hoping these bldryer would work perfect but NOT the case. lThe bristles bend and become weak. Hair gets caught and pulls too.

I have a ton of hair and wasn’t sure it would work as quickly as my favorite Dry Bar blow dryer but it does. Wish I hadn’t waited.

Was gifted the Double Shot from my mom and it’s a complete game changer! I was never one to have a clue on how to style hair, but let me tell you it’s so easy to use and maneuver with the devices tangle free cord and oval brush that I did it like a pro on the first try. 10/10 would recommend this to the first timers and instant confidence boost. Thank you mom and thank you Dry Bar for giving the pick me up I needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this blow dry brush, but I found myself very underwhelmed with what it offered for the price of the brush. Prior to this brush, I've owned the Hot tools brush, and it did the job, but simultaneously damaged My hair because of the high heat. With the Drybar brush, I felt like the brush didn't heat up hot enough to give my hair any style or volume. My hair came out smooth and silky and the brush glided through it easily, but it didn't have any volume, which was my main goal. It was actually rather flat.

Absolutely love this tool it leaves my hair soft silky and healthy..

I purchased my double shot 1. 5 years ago. I use it 2 to 3 times week. Live alone - nobody else uses it. It just starting “popping” now - I’m worried it’s gonna catch fire. I’m afraid to use it. I contacted Drybar and they won’t do anything without the receipt. I’m actually shocked they didn’t at least want to take a look at it as it could hurt somebody. I doubt my dryer is the only one with this issue. I would never by another thing from them. I’ve had inexpensive blow dryers last years. It’s just a matter of time before they get sued.

My hair gets frizzy if I just blow dry it, but this brush smooths out my hair perfectly!!! I’m so glad I spent the extra money to get such a quality product!

Best hair tool I’ve ever used. This is my 3rd one. I will not buy any other hair tool. I get complimented on my hair all the time.

I use this on my dry or damp hair for smoothness. I absolutely love it!!

I purchased this product twice. Once I was gifted and I loved it, but it went out after 2 uses, I almost though I was about to be electrocured and sounded like it was going to blow up. I thought maybe it was that soecific one and I purchased another which also did the same thing after 3 uses and it completely stopped working, wouldnt even turn on. This cant be a coincidence.

This blowdry brush works very well, and my first one lasted 2-3 years. My second one however, lasted less than 6 months, and gave out without warning. I reached out to ULTA who suggested I reach out to the manufacturer. I have called and waited on hold and sent emails to DryBar and have yet to receive a response. I moved on to the Kristen Ess blowdry brush which is a 3rd of the price and works just as good. Have been with that one now about 5 months and hopefully it will keep going.

I literally love this product! It’s the perfect temperature (does not get too hot like my old dryer) and my hair has never looked better or felt healthier!

This product is not well made and will break down quickly
