Relatively easy to remove putty from packaging, though it does seem to solidify into one giant chunk of clay within the container. Scooped a small portion out and mixed it with a smidge of warm water before applying to my hair. Held nicely and added a noticeable amount of volume/style. Overall, happy with the putty. Only need a little bit of it each time, so this will last a while.

I struggled to get it spread through. I have thick wavy hair. And it was just not right for me. If you do like a very very firm hold, this may work for you.
