This wall thimble measures 6 inches to ensure that it can adjust from a minimum of 4.25 inches to a maximum of 7.25-inch wall thickness to fit between standard wall studs. If your walls are thicker, you can connect the telescoping pieces together and it can extend up to 16 inches when installed with a field-fabricated extension. This device is made for DuraPlus chimney pipe horizontally through the wall and extends a minimum of 2 inches into the room. Made of galvanized steel and painted black, this wall thimble trim will blend neatly with your chimney pipe. Designed with an easy in-and-out fit to ensure that you'll have your set-up put together as quickly as possible.
