I bought this set a few years ago for my 14 year old daughter, and it is holding up pretty well. It is a good starter set for her and she uses it daily. I have tried the brushes myself and they are good but not great. A little rough and not as soft as they could be, and some pick up a little more or a little less product than I like. With care, these will last. That being said - WHY does ELF have a daily wash for brushes? Washing daily is not recommended for any brushes and will make them not last near as long as they should. My daughter uses them daily and washes them about every two weeks. They are finally starting to wear out after a couple years.

I bought this brush set about 2 months ago and I love all the brushes and the case! I've been using elf make u0 brushes for years and some of these brushes I've had before. They lasted forever and some of them I still have that are over 8 years old and they still hold up. Super affordable

This is a decent brush set if you are just starting out and don't know what you'll really use yet. And happen to get this on sale. The brushes are OK, but they are a little rough even for cheaper brushes. You will get brushes that "fall apart;" mostly the head will separate from the handle of the brush but this can be fixed by just gluing it back together. Still annoying though.
