EcoTools Makeup Brush and Sponge Cleansing Shampoo

The EcoTools Makeup Brush and Sponge cleaner is so good. It lathers well and gets all of the makeup out of your brushes and sponges. It comes in a two-pack and lasts a long time. It’s a great value. I would recommend this product.

Love how easy it is to use and how clean it gets my make up brushes. I spent a bit more on make up brushes and wanted to keep them clean. This soap exceeds my expectations!

This makeup brush and sponge cleanser works great. It seems to have easily and thoroughly cleansed all of my brushes from the largest, puffiest ones to the smallest, tightly packed ones. It did well on the sponges as long as I let it sit in the sponge for a minute or two before rinsing.

This makeup brush shampoo is so so neat! A little goes a long ways, which is great and something every product should strive to achieve. I love the fact that it is fragrance free as some can be irritants. It left my brushes feeling fresh- and looking fresh, too! I would definitely recommend this product.

It does not work. I washed my brushes and was struggling to remove the makeup from them using this. Used Dawn soap after and it removed all of the makeup. I would never recommend this or use this ever again. Waste of money.

A lot of product for the money but I don’t feel like it cleans my brushes. I lathered and rinsed 4x and still dirty…Ive tried it several brushes over several different months.

I used this product once and will now be throwing it away. I cleaned all my brushes using it, and while it's possible I didn't rinse them thoroughly enough my skin has broken out in patches of itchy red bumps wherever the brushes touched. Nothing has changed in my routine, and I've used all the products before, this is the only new addition that could have caused it.

I love EcoTools and their great products. I use many different eyeshadow brushes and this brush shampoo works amazing! Just dampen brush with warm water, squeeze a small amount of shampoo onto makeup tool and gently rub with fingers. Rinse brushes thoroughly, reshape bristles if needed and lay flat to dry. No harsh scents or chemicals! I would highly recommend EcoTools deep clean makeup brush shampoo!

This is the only makeup brush cleaner I have found that truly gets all the makeup off, and does so extremely well and quickly.

This is my new favorite brush cleaner! Found this as I was desperately trying to save my brushes (a product we will not speak of left residue on all my tools and I thought they were ruined). It was cheap and highly effective - such a surprise and delight! Easy to use, fragrance-free, vegan. Truly a great product all around and super easy to use.

Really not impressed. I gave it away. Didn’t touch the cream or liquid on my brushes or sponges.

You get a lot of product for your money. Too bad you also need a generous portion to clean your brushes. I tried it on a powder blush brush. It removed about 70% of the stain. It removed even less of the liquid foundation & cream blush/contour out of other brushes & blenders. I don't mind the lack of fragrance. I dislike wasting my money.

I don't know what's in this, but it gets my brushes cleaned in record time and has a mild, pleasant smell. I'd been using regular face wash to clean my brushes previously and was growing concerned about the lingering foundation on some of the brushes week after week. After using this -- squeaky clean! A little goes a long way, too.

This is my ecotools 'Deep Clean Makeup Brush + Sponge Shampoo'! It's fragrance free, dermatologist tested, uses recyclable plastic, is vegan & is also PETA approved/Cruelty-Free! It's a clear, unfragranced formula, (other than smelling like a normal dish soap that has no fragrance), it's not too thin nor is it too thick & only a little is needed to work! It was definitely time for me to switch up from regular, "open" brush holders to an actual MUA brush bag that's as tall as my brushes, is see through on the top, is customizable & provides 24/7 protection from the dust in the air, dirt, bacteria, etc! I'll review that bag soon as well! So, I had to definitely wash my brushes before placing them in their new bag holder! I've been researching DIY videos & reading product reviews & came upon THIS particular brush/shampoo cleaner from ecotools! My oldest daughter, who's going to be 20 in a few days, & I, ALREADY use some of their products & have NEVER had a problem with any of their products! They're a wonderful brand! This cleanser is actually really good! It's unscented, works fast & actually cleans my brushes to the point of looking brand new again! For me, if I'm cleaning say, 10 brushes, surprisingly ONLY a little product is ALL that's needed, along with a big bowl, or the sink, & some warm water & my brush scrubber is ALL I need to clean my brushes quickly, yet effectively! But I ALSO take some of my "Rose Water & Glycerin" Micellar Water (I recommend THIS particular one because it has moisturizing Glycerin) from Garnier just to MAKE SURE they're fully cleaned! I'm happy to say that THIS beauty tool cleanser passes the Micellar Water test beautifully & I NEVER have to re-wash a brush! And, what I absolutely LOVE about this brand, & THIS particular product, is that it's PETA approved (Cruelty-Free), it's a vegan formula, is dermatologist tested & has absolutely NO fragrance or smell to it whatsoever! It does work REALLY well, cleans very fast, yet effectively, & my brushes are NEVER dried out afterwards, they go back to their original shape easily & there is absolutely NO residue nor smell left after cleaning! I only had to do my brushes one time for them to come out looking new!!! It DID clean VERY well, as it removed ALL of the dust, dirt, oil & makeup throughout the ENTIRE brush! For a lower priced, drug store brand, THIS one actually works & is the one that works the best for me! I was VERY pleasantly surprised that it works this good & doesn't cost a lot at all! I have already recommended this brush/sponge cleanser & will continue to recommend it! It's fantastic!

This makeup shampoo is horrid!! I’ve had to use so much of the shampoo just for it to stain my brushes. I’m sure they changed the formula because I’ve used eco tools before and the makeup would melt right off. This one I just got does the opposite no makeup comes out. The only brush that it worked on did not dry at all!!!

One of the best makeup brush cleaners that I have used. Removes layers of makeup build up in one wash. Does not dry out brushes which can make the brush brittle.

Why does this smell like wet dog? Is that normal or did I get a bottle from a bad batch or what?
