The EcoTools Sea Gems Face Set is a 4-piece full face brush and sponge set filled with essential tools to complete any makeup look. The makeup brush set includes the Cream Blush Brush, Soft Swirl Foundation Brush, Seashell Sponge, and Kabuki Brush. These face brushes work with liquid, cream, powder, and stick formulations. Use this brush set with your favorite cream blush, bronzer, contour, or setting powder. The seashell makeup sponge is perfect for blending your foundation for an even base. EcoTools Sea Gems collection uses 50% ocean bound plastic to help reduce the amount of plastic at-risk of ending up in the ocean. Directions of Use:
Cream Blush Brush: Dip brush into cream or liquid blush and blend in an upward sweeping motion. Soft Swirl Foundation Brush: Dispense quarter size foundation onto brush. Starting in the center of your face and working outward, gently buff foundation in circular movements for buildable coverage. Blend along jawline, neck, and hairline for a seamless look. Kabuki Brush: Dip brush and powder bronzer. Use the brush to blend in an upward sweeping motion. Seashell Sponge: Wet sponge, squeezing excess water until damp. Apply makeup in a bouncing motion to blend product into skin for an even natural finish.
Cleaning, Care, and Maintenance:
Clean weekly with EcoTools Brush + Sponge Shampoo for improved brush performance. Replace as needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was reluctant to try these.. I prefer the look of my brushes to professional. In my opinion these look like they’re meant for kids. That’s why I deducted a star. It’s the marbling and glitter in the handles and the ‘fun’ shaped sponge that are a turn off. However, because I had to use them for review purposes, I’m happy I did. I love everything about them - the texture and stiffness of the bristles, the finish they give when applying products. The shell-like ridges on the sponge weren’t a benefit but didn’t bother me either. Just wish they didn’t look like they were meant for pre-teens!

Every time I use it I spend more time picking the hairs back off my face which I don’t like but I do use the other brushes and the sponge daily! Easy to clean, cute appearance and has held up really well!

The brushes themselves are very high quality and a bit heavier than a regular makeup brush which I absolutely love. The two brushes with regular head are fabulous and I’ve already incorporated them into my makeup routine. The sponge and the sculpted brush I don’t like. The sponge where it’s the beautiful seashell shape catches way to much product when applying and wastes it. The sculpted brush is much the same but also is very uncomfortable to use. Overall it’s a great set despite downfalls of those two pieces.

It truly makes me feel like a mermaid when applying my makeup. The shell sponge is absolutely adorable and does a great job applying my contour, foundation and blush. I love that the tip works really well working in product under my eyes and around my nose. The shell shape brush I have used for both liquid foundation and powders and it works extremely well! The blush brush is super soft and the smallest brush I use for overall blending. I hope they keep this collection forever because it’s so cute and high quality! Love you EcoTools!!

This set is so adorable but also sustainable by using 50% ocean bound plastic to help reduce the amount of plastic at-risk of ending up in the ocean. The application looks flawless and airbrushed, the bristles itself are super soft and the blender is very soft and bouncy. My favorite brush out of this collection is the foundation brush because it’s swirled which allows for foundation to be applied so smoothly. Ecotools never disappoints these brushes are amazing.

The makeup tools are easy to use and made of great quality. The bristles on the brushes are soft and gentle to my face. The seashell sponge is my favorite. The pointed end makes it easy to apply my foundation near my eyes. I really feel like these tools are durable and gentle to my sensitive skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never seen a Kabuki brush I didn’t like and this one is no exception. I love to use it as a last step blender, and this one is really soft. The sponge has ridges that make it really easy to grip, which I appreciated. The blush brush is larger than most, so it can double as a contour brush if you so choose. the foundation brush has these cool layers that i’ve never seen before - I’m not sure what that changes in its application yet, but I’m going to play around with it and am excited to figure it out!
