[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very fun for my five year old. I helped a little bit, but he got the hang of it quickly. You can build a maze by the suggested directions or try to create something all on your own. My toddler loves it. It's sturdy and will hold up.
This will be played with again and again!!

We love building and making marble runs in our house, my 4 year old also loves her drills set so to get a two in one toy was great. Its straightforward to do, unpack the box and your away. She found the drill a little tricky to use at first but soon got the hang of it. Its great for problem solving, at first she didn't quite line the pieces up so the ball dropped, after a few attempts we decided to follow the instruction cards, she did this easily. She then started moving things around to create her own run. Its great that you can buy extra sets to extend the run, the pieces are also nice bold colours and seem sturdy. Later my 6 year old had a go, she could put it all together easily but spent ages moving things around to make the best run!! She wanted to use as many pieces as she could on the board. This will definitely be coming out again and again!!
Very modern and a twist on a timeless game

My 5 year old daughter really enjoyed playing with this with her Dad... and her Dad got pretty involved in it too! The drill was really easy for her to use and is great for enhancing fine motor skills. The picture cards it comes with to help you set up different mazes were helpful and easy to use. It's handy that you can mount it to a wall to make it sturdier. I would say that younger children playing with this would definitely need some support or supervision to make the mazes aswell as prompting but definitely a good one to do as a parent and child activity.

Dotty really enjoyed, planning out and drilling in her maze. She got a little frustrated when she picked up the wrong piece but after a while she got it, the ball needed to go through the holes to follow on the maze. Really colourful product which helps with problem solving and maze making and planning. She has also been setting daddy mazes to solve. Dotty also loved being able to see the drill working inside and out. Forwards and backwards drilling make things easier for new mazes. Strong box for storage and all fits back in nicely.
Fantastic marble run, drilling fun!

Mum of two boys.. - 4 years ago

My two boys are now obsessed with this! At 4 and 6 years old, they both love marble runs, but don't often play with them as they take so long to put together and are not easy for my clumsy 4 year old to master, but this one is completely the opposite! The board itself can either be stood up using the included stands, or fixed to a wall. I especially love this idea, and will be fixing it to their bedroom wall so they can use it whenever they like. The drill is easy to use, and they both love taking it in turns to place the pieces and do up the screws. This marble run comes with a set of cards, which gives you a selection of pieces you can use, and where to put the start and the finish, and then you have to work out the best way to build it using those pieces so it works and the ball falls in the hole at the end. I have been using the cards with my 6 year old, and he has been loving finding out all the different ways it can be possible. This is such a great set, with so many different ways you can build it. I would say that this is both of my boys now 'go to' game. They have already been asking me to get them another set, so we can connect it to this one, and expand the set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This design and drill marble maze was terrific. It was more durable than other marble mazes we have tried and has more combinations and was just more engaging since it is vertical. My children had hours of fun with this the first day alone. The drill doesn't have as much power as it really should, if you are not holding it at the exact right angle, it won't drill at all. I found previous design and drill products to have a more productive drill. I would definitely buy this again as a gift for another child or relative-it was amazingly fun. My family will continue playing with this for years to come I think. Thanks to BzzAgent for supplying me with this free sample. I would enjoy a wooden version in the future if one can be made-or at least a partially wooden version with a wooden peg board componenet at least. I love that this has holes to hang it from the wall as well as set it up on it's feet. It is very versatile for play.

My children are massive fans of marble run type toys and my son in particular loves creating and construction, so we were really excited to find this toy. There are lots of challenges to have a go at but so both of my children have just enjoyed working together to create their own maze. They tried to make a maze using every single piece in the box for example! My son who is 5 found it easier to screw the pieces in when it was laying flat on the floor and we've only just discovered it can be attached to the wall, so that is our next venture. I love the idea of it being on the wall in their room and I'm planning to get a box for all the pieces so they can dip in and out of it as they wish. There is only one plastic red ball that comes with it but we've been substituting the balls from our Hungry Hippos game as it's the same type.
So much fun!

We absolutely love this marble run. My boys really love the drill and the process of building the run... having the cards with the different designs is really useful but we also love using our imagination and making our own too. Having the option to fix this to a wall or board is really awesome, I'm going to pop it up in my boys bedroom so it's available to them all the time rather than being another game in a box! My boy's are 3 & 5 and they do need a grown up to help them when building the run, but I know this will really grow with them and they'll be able to play without the extra help in the not too distant future.
Creative fun

We love this marble drill game in our house. All four of my children aged 3-9 wanted a go at setting up their own marble runs. My five year old found it a bit tricky to start with. But after a few attempts got the hang of using the drill. The big selection of suggested runs was also very helpful. It enabled them to think about how to use a selection of the run pieces to create their own working maze for the marble to run down. It comes with a stand, lots of plastic screws and different plastic bits to create a unique run with each use. It does only come with one plastic marble though. So you need to keep it in a safe place! Will also need three AAA batteries. But is a great learning toy to encourage children to think for themselves and entertain themselves too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a unique use of time! My kids (4, 6 and 8) all loved to try the drill and act like daddy! They liked to make their own patterns as well as try to replicate the ones on the cards provided. I would maybe recommend adding another marble or two in the box with all the parts as my kids have lost the marble several times 🤣 I just really love that the kids can do unsupervised play time and learn about gravity and mechanics as they go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls are ages 8 and 4. They both had a blast with this product. The younger one wasn't able to really build the marble run, but with help from the older one to build it, they got it created. The older child engaged more in the building, and younger in the playing once it was built. It has kept them engaged for at least an hour each time they've played with it! One downfall or frustration we have with toys, is when they do not come with the first set of batteries. Kids get very excited to play with a toy, and let's be honest, us parents for some reason NEVER have the right kind of batteries or we used the last one in a smoke detector that morning (I mean life vs toys... weigh it out), so it would be a real added perk to have that first set of batteries included. Otherwise, great product, and very fun for the kids!

It is fun, east to use and durable toy. It is very engaging and entertaining, and is the perfect toy for kids that usually get bored fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun activity. Boys and girls age 7 and under stayed interested for an hour so definitely engaging. Love that there is an educational side to this but Dislike that it only came with one marble! I can see that not lasting long with young children.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved this! He has played with it non stop since we recieved it in the mail to test and review. He loves that you can do all types of mazes for the marble. This had become a game like that by whole family has played with. This I'd amazing for young kids and older ones as well :)
