This is not going to break easy, but the homes and gnomes are hollow inside so less of an issue if they become projectiles. The instructions included in the box also have ideas for different games and activities. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone with smaller children as it is fun, durable and educational.

One of the houses was super tight to open and close so he definitely needed help with it but I'm sure after using it for a while it will loosen up making it easier to open.

It is a stacking type toy with 3 parts to each, a top to the mushroom, a bottom to the mushroom and a cute gnome to go inside! They are number and color coded for sizes. It helps stimulate your child's brain with the different sizes and colors! It's so fun to watch my little one attempt to put them the right way. It's definitely a learning curve for her, as she is only 16m and it's for 18m+ but I'm sure by 18m she'll understand a lot more on how to do it!

My son is 2.5 and it was a bit too young for him, but it'll be great for teaching our second son as he gets older

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package caught my little's eye right away. The colors were bright and vibrant. He was curious to what they were and was ready to play with them before I had a chance to open the box. He like the little mushroom houses and was more excited when he learned that they could be opened and there were gnomes inside. I let him play with them how he wanted for a while while I got everything out of the package. Then we had some educational playtime. I would really recommend this toy, it was a lot of fun and easy to play with. He did have a little trouble open wing the bigger mushrooms (little toddler hands) but other than that. We loved it!
