We bought this as a Christmas present for our 4 year old son, who has been waiting for better weather to use it. It had been broken very easily twice, just from his little brother tipping it over.

Bought two in the sale before Christmas to give as gifts and very disappointed. The item is a glorified magnifying glass with no adjustable distance or focus, and both fell apart the first light use

My son received this from his grandmother for Christmas, and we can't see anything out of it. Really disappointing because he was super excited to receive it.

Thank you for your feedback, we do appreciate it. Our My First Telescope is designed for children ages 4-7. Because of the difference in pupillary distance between an adult and child, an adult can only see through the double eyepiece by closing one eye. If you try this fix and still believe there is a problem with your unit, please reach back out and provide us with your order number and we'll be happy to help.

It does not do anything. There is no adjustment for the lenses and all you can see is blurry. I am very disappointed with this thing.

You cannot see anything out of this, let alone any stars. I knew it was just a kiddie telescope, but I still expected it to do SOMETHING. It does nothing.

We purchased this for our grandkids. It has always been nearly impossible to see any light through the optics. I can hear something rattling inside and my 6 year old grandson pointed out that it was a pair of mirrors that had come loose, visible sitting on the inside of the largest lense. It would be nice if the toy actually worked.

Bought one -never saw anything & there’s a rattle inside. No one wants to let you return. Dummy me- bought a second one before I knew I was gonna be stuck with 2 rejects, that no one will stand behind. No refunds. Don’t waste your time, money, or child’s heart. I’ll never buy any of this company’s products again.

The telescope was a gift for my daughter's 4th Birthday as she loves spotting bird and learning about nature. Unfortunately she dropped it once and the eye piece broke into pieces. I tried to fix it again, but all she could see was pitch black . I emailed customer service and they've sent one again in a matter of 3 days. 5 star service. Thank you! I have a happy child again.
No Viewable or Functioning

If you are looking for a telescope as decoration on a child's desktop then this is a nice telescope. If you expect your child to view the world through this telescope, then buy another product. Free-focus means does not focus. And, it is not very sturdy. It is cute as decoration on a table top or chest of draws, but it is not really functional. Also, they say it fits on a table top, when they should say it is only designed for a table top or for your child to sit on the ground and try to use the telescope. This is designed for 4 years and up, but it's not very sturdy. Like I said it is great for decoration, not for play or education.
