Educational Insights Playfoam GO! Squishy Sandcastle

My daughter loves to use the playfoam to build things for the little sea creatures that came with this set. She plays independently with this, which is a win!

We bought this product on the first day of the month-long quarantine. We were looking for something that would keep our 3 year old occupied while I worked from home and my old child continued her schooling online. This product is great. I'm able to leave it out on the table for my 3 year old to come over to anytime he wants. It doesn't dry out and is easy to clean up. The sea creatures are a favorite of both my children. They love to hide them inside the foam then squeeze so hard that the creatures pop out. One of my favorites of this product is the carrying case. I've seen products like this before selling the foam only. This product from Educational Insight out does the other products I've seen because of the carrying case we can take with us to the restaurant and it's so easy to store.

I loved the toy and the design of how it's packaged. My 4 year old daughter loved playing with the sand foam and the ocean animal figurines were great too. She's been learning a lot about ocean animals recently so this was a great toy for her continued learning. I also loved how easy cleanup was. That's partly why I don't like play doh because of the cleanup but this was very easy to clean and easy to put away. This entertained my daughter for a while and it's something I can see that's portable to play with when traveling as well (once we're able to travel again).

My daughter absolutely loves playing in the sand - but i hate the cleanup. This toy was a great alternative. She loved the colors of the playfoam - and her easy ability to make shapes. But best of all are the little animals that came with the set. Super cute!

Great toy for creative play! My 5 and 4 year olds really love this set. Here's what I like too: -has a carrying case for easy clean up and storage -comes with enough sea animals (5) that they can both play with the set and share easily -makes a cool sensory bin with squishy playfoam -open-ended toy that invites imagination (within minutes, this castle became the sea animal school, a sea restaurant, the home of a sea monster, etc.) Fun toy set and would be a great gift!

We are huge fans of playfoam so I knew my kids would love this set! This set comes with 6 bricks of playfoam and it also comes with 5 sea animal friends. It also comes in a carrying set with built in molds so we will definitely be taking this set with us next time we travel. Playfoam keeps my kids (ages 3.5 & 5) occupied for a long time! I am a huge fan of sensory play so I love that my kids can use their imagination to create different things and the possibilities are endless on what they can make with playfoam. One of my favorite things about playfoam is that clean up is so easy and especially with this set because we can put everything back in the carrying case when they are done playing. We have a ton of playfoam in our house and it never dries up! We love playfoam and we highly recommend it!

It held his attention for quite a while as he mixed all of the colors and played with the sea life figurines. As a parent, clean up was much easier than other items that get stuck in our carpet, but I do still keep finding little foam balls around the house. Overall, it is fun and I would recommend to friends!

I loved that there was so much to turn into a great learning adventure him. We talked about colors, textures and shapes with the foam and molds. The little animals we great! We rolled them into foam balls and then squished them out! He had a blast! I especially loved being able to pack it all back in the container when we had finished. This toy was a big hit in our house!

Unfortunately, the Playfoam does NOT stay together well and we had tiny foam balls ALL over the kitchen table. I'm thankful that the kids used it strictly on the table so we could ensure little pieces didn't make it to the floor - what a mess!

I like that the foam last a long time. My kids played with it for awhile and it didn't dry out. It's fun and you can not only build a castle but other creations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2 year old son had a blast playing with this! He like the texture as it is different than play dough but still acts like play dough. This kept him busy for at least 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this for kids to play with.

It comes with some absolutely adorable little sea creature figurines to play with, too! I would definitely recommend this stuff to anyone! The only reason I included a "con" in the questions is because it MADE me, so I picked short battery life since this doesn't use batteries!

This is a great sensory toy! Both my 3 and 5 year old really enjoyed playing with it. The included ocean animals were really cute. The best part is that it comes with a carrying case. This makes the clean-up really easy and I love that the toy is portable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Playfoam GO! Squishy Sandcastle is a great activity toy. It includes castle storage, colorful squishy foams, small plastic creatures, and molds. My kids have a blast every time they play with it. They can be so creative with squishy colorful foams. They are little sticky to touch but they don't leave any residues nor transfer to any surfaces. They're easy to clean up and put back to the case for next playing. The little creatures are well made and don't have any plastic smell.

The castle container design was super cute and it allowed for the Playfoam as well as the sea creatures included to all fit inside. The sea creature figurines are very cute and durable. My kids enjoyed playing with them separately, as well. This is a good travel toy since the case makes it easy to carry everything along. I like Playfoam much better than other sensory toys like play dough because I don't have to worry about it drying out if my kids forget to put it away.

I admit, I have fun playing with this as well. On our last flight with the kids we didn't have a great solution for bringing our Playfoam. This castle solves the problem and provides some extra fun. First off, everything fits in the package which is a huge plus - just grab and go. The standalone sea creatures are solid and well made. There is plenty of space in the castle to include your other Playfoam as well. Finally, I love packaging that is repurposed and played with so this is a huge environmental win as well. One other reviewer said that this had a strong smell. Our set didn't at all so that was surprising to hear.

This sandcastle with floam is super cute! My 3.5 year old son really loved the little sea creatures it came with. The first thing he wanted to do was have them jump into the floam like it was water. The sandcastle has a handle for carrying and molds for using with the floam. My kid is obsessed with all types of buildings so a castle was a big hit, especially one he can carry like a briefcase. The floam is a good sensory activity. He loves play dough so this was a nice change of pace. Best thing - everything can be stored in the castle.

Would be nice to entertain a younger kid while out at a restaurant, or function if they have a table to play on. Really not that messy and easy clean up. The characters are too cute and very sturdy. They would be good to play with out the foam too. My little one already is asking to take them in the bath. Nice bright colors that are stimulating and very hands on which sparks creation. Cons: Has a very strong smell (But I will say that the smell doesn't stick to your hands!) Seems kind of dry and my daughter says it's should be more stretchy. Kind of hard to build anything except flat designs and the molds on the castle don't really work well and keep shape. Overall I would say this is fun for up to 8 years old. My kids really loved the idea of it but I think it could use a few improvements
