Educational Insights Playfoam Pluffle Twist Black & White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids really liked this (and I have to admit I had some fun with it, too). I added this to my kids' bins - the white to my daughter's (7) with pink, purple, blue kinetic sand and princess items and my the black to my son's (2) with black and brown kinetic sand and construction equipment. Both kids really liked playing with it and liked the feel of it in their hands. It was a good addition to their bins and meshed well with the sand without getting too mixed in it. I liked that it added a new texture to their bin that wasn't super high maintenance like so many other items I tried including, but ended up removing because they required too much to maintain / clean / replace. I didn't like the case it came in. It was hard to get in and, had I not used it in a separate bin, there is no way my kids would have ever been able to stuff it back in that case. It was also kind of tough to get out.

My boys absolutely LOVE this Playfoam Pluffle!.. It's hard to actually describe what this is, but if you think light, fluffy magically moving puffy stuff, you wouldn't be far wrong! This Pluffle comes in a nice sturdy container, that keeps it safe so you can reuse over and over again. The container has a handy flap on each corner so you can tip the Pluffle out slowly, or alternatively, you can take off both ends.. This Pluffle makes a great sensory experience, it is so soft and even sparkles in the light as it has glitter in it! My boys absolutely love the feel of it running through their fingers, and watching it move by itself when it lands.. My 6 year old swears it's magic!.. Pluffle does not stick to anything, and simply just brushes off of hands and surfaces, although if you have children like mine, it can become messy so I just put a mat underneath them and then when they are finished, just fold the mat and tip it back into the container. As it doesn't stain or mark, it's great for younger children to explore, that's if they can get it away from the adults! This is truly mesmerising stuff for a fantastic sensory experience for both young and old.

I placed this in a small bin, added a few various objects, marbles, jacks, toy cars, etc. and it was a huge hit! My 10 year old played with this and we talked through some pretty big emotions! 10/10 recommend. I don't think I would recommend this to any kiddo under 4.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this stuff. I am never played with this type of material and neither has my almost three year old. I was very Blown Away with how cool it is. When you're playing with it it constantly looks like it's moving which is really trippy but exciting at the same time. The material has glitter in it and does leave little specks around but it's not a lot and it washes off easily. The phone comes in a usable container for storage and it's very easy to pack it back away when you're done. My daughter's favorite thing to do with it is pack it into a tight ball and then let it go and watch it grow back to normal size. Overall we love the so much I had to purchase more containers of it because this has become one of our favorite daily play toys.

As a previous pre-k teacher I intentionally find interesting things and activities for my son to play with and learn from. He loves cars and immediately wanted to put all of his vehicles in it. It's fluffy like memory foam but so many more pieces. It is like kinetic sand in a sense but squishy. He loves loading it into his dump truck like dirt. I enjoy the texture as well. Hours of fun, but has potential to get everywhere.

The playfoam seems to move which was so thrilling for my little one and brought many laughs. We first tried a little of this stuff when sitting in our parked car while a sibling was napping. We poured it into an empty Tupperware and it kept my daughter entertained without disturbing the other one. This stuff is great for sensory bins. We mixed the two colors which is a nice option. It is kind of challenging to get all of the playfoam back into the original container but we easily found a container with a larger opening.

I had bought her a lot of kinetic sand when we started our sensory bin collection, but she got easily frustrated with it because it was hard for her to manipulate. This Pluffle is super easy to work with and is very fluffy. I will be buying her more in different colors now that I know how much she enjoys playing with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old twins immediately wanted to open the Playfoam Pluffle and fell in love with it right away. It can be a little messy because it is small pieces, so we put it in a sensory bin and they played for an hour. They have played with it multiple times since the first day and it still looks like new and hasn't dried out or gotten yucky. I would definitely recommend this product to parents of preschool and early elementary kids, especially sensory seekers! We had a black and white duo and the kids love that it never blends into gray, just stays separate even when mixed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pluffle can be compared to the kinetic sand, pluffle seems to be like tiny foams pieces mixed with a little glitter to add a nice color. This product is very entertaining for my 2 boys, they are having a blast building a castle then watching it slowly fall apart. Two colors came in our package which that made it even better so the colors can be mixed together for more fun!! I would definitely buy this product again, I would suggest to let the kids put this pluffle in a plastic container tub for easy sensory fun. I will definitely recommend this to my mom friends with kids. It feels good to the touch & neat to play with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff was so neat and novel and my 6 year old absolutely loved it! It was gushy and somewhat stuck together like slime or clay but still fell apart, much like kinetic sand, but with a very different texture. Its so different from anything else my daughter has played with...she literally sat for a good 30 minutes mushing it together and then sprinkling it loose! So much fun!
