Q: It says it removes natural polishes. Does that mean it can't remove polish by brands like Essie and OPI?

submitted by Renee - 5 years ago
  • A: Hello yes it can. It won't remove gel polish, dip or nail polish on acrylic nails.

  • A: It does remove Essie and opi but it takes more time. It does not work with gel or glitter.

Q: Would this be a good product for removing a clear OPI Matte top coat from acrylic nails?

submitted by Miquiztli - 2 years ago
  • A: Hello, thank you for your message. Our nail polish removers only work on natural nails, doesn’t work on acrylics or gel. Hope this helps.

Q: What ingredient in this product melted my plastic handle and cosmetic bag? Look at the reviews from worst to best to see how many have experienced this - along with a leaky cap. If it can dissolve those solid surfaces how can it be safe for nails?

submitted by dschleis - 4 years ago
  • A: Hello, we are so sorry to hear this. While all of the ingredients used in our remover are carefully screened for health, safety, and toxicity, the soy derivative used in the remover is naturally aggressive toward plastics, many rubber compounds, and other similar surfaces. Also, since it has near zero VOC content, which is fantastic for the ozone, that also means it will not evaporate like acetone and other alcohols, so if it is spilled on a plastic bag or handle, it will keep working to the point of possibly damaging those surfaces. But our remover remains one of the healthiest polish removers available anywhere.

Soy Based Polish Remover

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never used a soy based polish remover & initially it didn't seem to take my old polish off (it wasn't Ella & Mila) but then it came off completely and was silky on my cuticles too. Like a built-in conditioner.

I like that this is moisturizing and isn't harsh but it took so much work to take my polish off with this stuff, my hands and arms started to hurt. Wouldn't buy it again.

Just what I wanted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a nail polish remover that would not be strong and dry out my nail. I needed to hydrate my brittle dry nails. They were like that because normal nail polish remover is to strong. The nail polish removers in beauty salon a triple stronger because they use it on acrilic nails. This one is very hydrating and you even feel a little hydrating oil. Love this product.

I love this stuff. I was expecting it to smell bad like remover usually does but it smells amazing. And it got the nail polish off just using one piece of paper towel with only 1tsp of remover!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Removes polish as well, if not better, than those with all the harsh chemicals. And I love the lavender scent that replaces the toxic smell of my previous removers.

Smells good! But isn’t very effective. Takes forever to wipe off polish and still seems like the polish won’t come off. Also very oily.

This polish remover takes forrrreverrrrr to remove polish. I see im in the minority here but I do not like to scrub at one nail for two minutes straight to remove simple polish. Don't even try this with glitter polish. This polish is a waste of money and I'm sticking to target's up and up non-acetone remover, which is $10 less per bottle.

This product is just the best. I have been using acetone for years so my expectations easy thorough nail polish removal are high. This product works amazingly well and does not damage the toenails. I’m not sure if it still comes in the blue individual packets. Those were perfect for travel.

I’ll never use another polish remover

I absolutely love this nail polish remover! I have thin nails that are prone to breakage. Traditional acetone removers have always dried out my nails and fingers, and the harsh scent only makes polish removal worse. I’m so glad I tried this soy remover. It does the job of removing polish, first and foremost. But it also feels nourishing to my nails, and the lavender scent is calming and pleasant. I don’t avoid removing polish that has reached its lifetime now or spend days picking it off little by little. I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t love this remover. It’s the best!
