Ello Hydra 64oz Stainless Steel Half Gallon Jug

I like the size of this water bottle. However, I wish it came with a spout option. They are so much easier to clean than straws.

This bottle was good for about a day. Then the handle popped off. Nbd, I just popped the handle into place. Except the handle kept popping out on a daily basis. Then it broke completely. Shortly after the mouthpiece lid broke off too. So now I had a non functioning water bottle, as it leaked terribly without the mouthpiece covering. Had to switch back to my regular 32 oz bottle. Don't buy this piece of junk.

It was okay and held water cold fine. Not the best insulation but for the price I wasn’t mad. I bought it in January and it’s not October and as I was going to fill it up with water for work I looked inside while washing and it has a few spots where it is starting to rust. I only use it for water and I was it in between uses regularly but I will now be throwing it away. Wouldn’t buy again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I’ve purchased one for every member of my family. Months of use, even by small children and no issues or damage.

The top broke within the first couple uses

This is a perfect water bottle. My favorite part is that the straw is easier to drink from than any other water bottle I have tried, as opposed to something like a Stanley that reminds me of sipping a thick milkshake. I love how there's a cover for the straw that you can also lock in place. Lastly, it's effortless to open. I'm used to using all my grip strength to open water bottles, but this one is easy to open and close and does not spill at all. As expected, it keeps beverages cool all day.

It hold up well and keeps water cold. Use it mostly during my work shift and keeps me hydrated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Helps me drink enough water throughout the day at home. Refrigerated water with no ice not in direct heat stays cold for hours. Awkward to carry around, though the loop helps. Pretty easy to handwash. Like the sanitary cover. Have to use 2 hands to pick up & drink when full. Wish it came in bubblegum pink. Mauve is a like too purple for me. Always a little bit of water left over due to straw length.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its huge!! Saves some trips to and from the water fountain. Only cons is that it did come with a dent and in the first few refills the water sort of tastes and smells like chlorine. Other than that its a pretty solid bottle. :)

Bought this as a gift for a friend, they love it. Keeps their water cold all day, and the straw makes it easier to drink while they are driving for their job.

There was one other brand that I have been faithful to for years. Nothing else I tried came even close to it for maintaining temperature (hot and cold). My daughter had the smaller one and forgot it at my house. It looked almost exactly like the one I already use except Ello has a different top on it. This larger one doesn't have the same type of cover over the drinking spout, and I don't like it as well as I do the cover for the smaller bottle. That one allows you to stand the straw upside down on the counter when you are refilling it. the one for this jug only covers the spout and you have to lay it on its side, so it is easier to have the end of the straw touching other stuff (since the cap to the bottle is what I really liked I deducted 1 star for this one because of the difference). I shook it and heard there was still ice in the container, so I drank some of the water that was left in it, and it was still ice cold. I really liked the way the top covers the spout you drink from. I also like the fact that I don't have to tip my head back to get a drink and the straw is large enough that it flows very well without feeling like you are having to suck up through a plugged straw! It has a much smaller opening on the bottle than mine does, but it is still large enough to put ice in it easily. The only downside is that it isn't for hot liquids but that doesn't matter for me. I only drink ice cold liquids and this is perfect for keeping whatever I put in it that way. Also take note - it isn't to be used for carbonated drinks either according to the label that was wrapped around it when I received mine

I can’t believe I spent this much on a water bottle that I hate this much. I wish I had returned it when I had the chance. The second it falls over (and it will fall over more than you realize in everyday use) it will leak like crazy and make a mess. I could not recommend it to anyone.

This bottle is definitely not worth the money! It leaks so much but my main problem is it stopped keeping my water cold within a month! I can fill it up fully with ice, then cold water, yet the ice is completely melted within a couple hours! Maybe I have a defective one, but whatever it may be, don’t waste your money!
