Elvie Stride Valve - 3ct

Works as should. I wish they came in a 4 pack. I will likely try an off-brand that comes in a 4-pack next time because of this. LOVE my stride but it doesn’t work as a main pump for some people.

Elvie is falsely marketing their Elvie Stride parts as dishwasher safe even though they are aware putting washable parts in the dishwasher can cause warping, rendering the pump ineffective. I suffered from recurrent clogged ducts and was put on antibiotics for or to prevent mastitis three times while using my Elvie stride pump. After notifying Elvie of my situation, I was told all five of my valves were warped from putting them in the dishwasher. When I spoke with a manager over the phone, I was told they are already aware of warping issues, but would not change their washing/sanitizing instructions. After two months of trying to communicate how serious of an issue this is to Elvie, the only thing the company is willing to do is refund me half of the cost of the pump if I return the pump to them since I purchased through insurance. The lack of transparency regarding proper washing/sanitizing contributed to my physical and mental health issues during breastfeeding and resulted in unwanted early cessation of lactation in my case. For the safety of women using Elvie stride, Elvie must be transparent and change their washing/sterilization instructions or warn women of warping if parts are put in the dishwasher. I was advised by my OB/GYNs team to write a review online, contact my insurance company since I purchased it through insurance, and file a safety report regarding a medical device with the FDA medwatch program. If you have experienced similar issues, I urge you to do the same.

These parts worked perfectly! I purchased a set of each part for my pump so I could have two sets and not have to dry all of the parts each time I pumped. The price was the best I could find anywhere.
