This is common sense but it heats up quite quickly, so avoid this straight in the sun or put something down to cool it off.

Made from heavy duty plastic it assembled pretty easily with clear, easy to follow instructions. i was impressed that the fasteners are stainless steel, and that the pieces fit together perfectly. features we really like include the swing out beverage shelf. it includes a 'ring' to keep your beverage secure, and the whole shebang swivels out of the way under the armrest. the footrest also slides in and out from under the front of the seat which is a cool feature. the chair itself is very comfortable and fits me well.good for relaxing, napping, socializing. and it won't blow away!

I will say I didn't expect it to be so heavy. It's very heavy and well-made. I guess I'm just so used to plastic everything it seems super heavy. Definitely lovely and built to last.

Even with my curious toddler wanting to help it (aka get in the way) it may have taken all of 15mins to put together. 14 bolts total and your done… i just went back with the drill afterwards to really tighten it all after hand doing the whole thing.. looks great once together… ready to get it on the back patio and enjoy a cold one…

Easy to set and store. But black option sadly attracts more sun so you have to use towel or something white to not get a burn in a sunny day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This adirondack is a much needed upgrade for my patio. The HDPE material is all weather, requires minimal upkeep and it is UV fade resistant. The chair has a little bit of weight to it and feels very sturdy. The chair is comfortable, it has a cupholder that slides out and there is a built-in ottoman that slides out, transforming the chair to a lounge chair. The chair took about 10 to 15 minutes to assemble. The only recommendation I have when using the ottoman is to pull out the ottoman before sitting down. You can pull out the ottoman when seated, however, it is not a quick and simple pull out as everything has to be lined up exactly to pull out. I anticipate this durable adirondack chair will last for years to come and I look forward to the many hours of relaxation it will provide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is perfect for a certain height or below. My husband is 6 ft and 240 lbs while I am 5'3. He fits in it, but not as comfortably as he wishes. As for myself, I find the chair comfy! I like the added cup holder and the ability to pull out the footrest part or leave it simply as the Adirondack chair. The chair was really easy to assemble and didn't take but 15 minutes with very little work required. It's not wood, but it's not plastic, so it has been subjected to the sun and rain here in Tennessee and is still holding strong. It's not quite red as much as it is a coral color; more pink then red. It's nice though and has made a great addition to the evening dinners on the porch!

I love the blue color–it’s so bright and happy and brings a fun beachy feel to my patio. Of course, I love the convenience of a cup holder! The plastic build is sturdy and durable, and I appreciate how easy it is to clean off. I don’t have to be careful about damaging wood or paint, and that’s a huge deal in my book. I’m taking off a star because having the ottoman pull out from the chair is one of those things that seems great in theory, but in practice is a bit clunky. It can be awkward to sit down if you have it out, but hard to pull out if you’re sitting down. However, it is a nice space saver when you have it slid in, since you don’t have to deal with an extra piece of furniture.The shape of the chair is very comfortable for lounging in the sun with or without the footrest, but I’m quite short (5”3”), and can’t imagine it would be as comfortable if you’re much taller. Even the width is smaller than my other adirondack chairs. Proportionately, this seems better suited to teens/petite adults than the average person. If the design/size works for what you need, I think this is a quality chair.

The pullout ottoman allows me to rest my legs when I want to recline. It has extra wide armrests. There is a slide out cupholder on the right side that is perfect to hold my drink. The black color looks nice, and they have brighter colors you can choose from depending on your style. It is made from faux wood composition that will not rot, chip, or peel, so you don't have to worry about damage to the chair from being outdoors. I use this chair in our backyard to relax while my children play. I find it to be quite comfortable and it is very well made.
