Description
Light up a room with the Energizer Motion-Sensing Ceiling Light. It features LED technology, senses motion from up to 15ft. away and automatically turns off after 15 seconds of no motion being detected. The ceiling fixture makes a great addition to spaces as varied as garages, closets, pantries, bathrooms, hallways, stairs and basements. This ceiling light produces a high-quality and bright 300 lumens, ensuring that you will be able to see clearly in any room. The motion-activated feature provides superior convenience when compared to other ceiling lights.
Mounting hardware includes screws and anchors, making the ceiling fixture simple to install in any area where you need to add light. Simply turn the base of the light counterclockwise to remove, and install it using the included screws and anchors. Then install your 4 D batteries and twist the ceiling fixture onto the base clockwise until it locks into place. Bought this for a dark hall closet. It does a great job lighting up the space, and the motion activation is the right amount of sensitive. Also love that it shuts itself off pretty quickly, conserving batteries. I give it 5 stars now, contingent upon decent battery life. If I find that it burns through batteries too fast, I'd have to decrease my star rating.

Maybe I got a dud because everyone else seems to love this, but my experience was that it’s a piece of junk. Could never get the motion sensor to work.

Stopped detecting motion after a couple of weeks.

It worked great for a couple of weeks and then it suddenly stopped turning on. I installed it with new batteries purchased at the same time. With I take it down and move the batteries around it goes on right away but will no longer turns on with motion which makes it pretty useless on the ceiling.

This past summer we built a loft bed for our twin toddlers, the bottoms part is a playhouse that we’ve struggle to find lighting for. String lights/rope lights they could just pull down, unplug, or didn’t offer enough lighting for the space. This light screws on and is very bright! I also love that it is comes on automatically when it detects motion and turns off when there isn’t this is especially handy for the space! The only con: It required 4 D sized batteries and I don’t know how long the batteries will actually last. I will probably be ordering more of these in the near future to go in 2 storage closets in my home that do not have lights.

Light does not turn off! I installed the batteries and the light instantly turned on, as designed. Then, I left the light in a closed closet where I could see light beneath the door crack. Waited 15 seconds. The light didn't go off. Came back a half-hour later and the light was still on. Popped out the batteries and reinstalled them for a second try. The same thing happened.
Junk product that clearly lacks QA at the factory.

It is motion censored so it lights up when motion is detected. The limitation is the brightness of the light and since it is battery powered, it is not brightly lit to conserve battery use. It is convenient so it does not have to be wired up but is inconvenient since you have to replace the batteries.

Everybody goes in there, but they NEVER turn of the light. Now there is no need to turn it on, and I am saving on my electric bill. Jut need to put the batteries in, mount it, and bam, instant light. Love it.
