Q: Anyone notice this formula doesn’t flow as well through nipple? Using newborn dr brown nipples and I think the rice starch makes it much harder for baby to suck out

A: it's thicker consistency because of the added rice. I had to move to a stage 2 nipple which since my baby started drinking this at 2 months and is now 6 months worked perfect.

We started with the regular Enfamil (yellow) formula but my baby wasn’t digesting it well and would spit out at least 3 times after each bottle feeding, then we tried the Gentlease and the spitting decrease but not enough, we finally switched to the A.R formula but my only regret has been not doing so sooner. My baby is doing sooo well, not spit outs whatsoever, she also sleeps through the night. I would definitely recommend this formula to anyone who has a baby with a delicate stomach.

Was given this when my son was released from the NICU after three weeks. He was born 6 weeks early and was having trouble with keeping down his formula and lost over a pound before they tried the AR Formula. We’ve been using it for a year now and he doesn’t spit up hardly ever, the most common issue is that he gets gas if he doesn’t burp. Other than that it’s been great!! Finding it was the hardest thing. We had such a hard time trying to find it. Some days we would go to 3 or 4 different stores looking for it and not find it. We stocked up when we could but it wasn’t always possible.

My 7 week premature twins drank this for 14 months and I really think it helped them grow and maintain their overall health. It did help a little with spit-up. We added an antacid as well but I know this really helped too.

This formula has been great for my baby—gentle on the stomach, and my little one loves it! It mixes well overall, but you do have to shake it quite a bit, which creates a lot of bubbles. It also takes some extra effort to fully dissolve, but it’s worth it for how well my baby is doing on it. Just let it sit a bit before feeding to reduce the bubbles.
