Whilst a low-back design, the contoured seat back provides limited support, and is suitable for many tasks, but is better for short-term use rather than long hours of sitting. The seat back is upholstered in a bonded leather, with a breathable mesh insert for airflow and circulation to help keep your back cool and dry. The soft cushioned seat feels plush with a thick, non-recycled, non-toxic foam filling. They're available in 5 different colors - black, gray, cream, blue, and pink. The chair is supported by a sturdy metal base, which can support up to 275 lbs, and rolls on 2" silent dual caster wheels, which are ideal for rugs and carpeted floors. Q: Rephrase of the question I just asked...I understand if the back might not tilt because it looks to actually connected to the seat, but does the entire seat/back rock back and forth?

A: Hi! You are correct that the back is fixed to the seat and does not move independently from the seat. The seat and back can definitely tilt and also be locked into the upright position by pushing the lever under the seat in.

Had this put together in minutes! The chair is comfortable. I was worried about the back not being high enough, but turned out perfect. I am only 5’3” so if you’re on the shorter side the back sits right under my shoulder blades. It’s very comfortable I bought it to sit at a craft market because I customize items so I need a chair that moves. I wish it had arms,but not a deal breaker. My only complaint and why I gave 4 stars is the wheels are not the best it’s almost like they drag from my weight. I am 140lbs, so I wouldn’t recommend this to a 200lb+ person or my wheels are just junk. Other than the wheels it a great little chair and I would recommend.

Bought this chair and put it together last week. Have used it for less than 8 hours only to feel it shift under me and refuse to roll. Turns out it has faulty welding and an entire caster holder fell out. Have contacted the company. Very disappointing. I'm under the weight limit for the chair and I'm just using it to work.

Terrible back support. The bad angle of backrest and no padding around the metal bar frame that surrounds the back pleather & mesh prevents it from being comfortable and supported. I thought since it was a Serta chair the seat cushion would be comfortable, but it is cheap and not much firm cushioning. You get what you pay for - in this case, junk with no support. I developed terrible lower back pain and am trashing this chair and going back to sitting in a dining chair at my desk. Earns one star for the appearance and fairly easy to assemble. Don't waste your money.

So easy to put together, love the pale blue color I got. Very close to the color on the website. Feel comfortable to lean back and not feel like it is going to snap off or tip when I sit in it crossed leg. Cushion is firm yet sinks in when I sit in it and I don't get the weird numb bottom that sometimes happen when I am sitting in it for a few hours. I would recommend for someone who needs a good basic chair in their home office.

Not super-comfortable but good enough; it looks very nice, especially in profile and the texture of the seat material. Important: has an all-metal base. Includes "hard-tread" casters for use on carpet surface (not chair mat) -- they say to buy soft-tread ones for anything else but I have no idea where to find those.
