Believe all the reviews that tell you it makes your nails feel like you have gel on them. This is the ONLY top coat I've tried that genuinely gives that same sort of smooth surface you get when you use gel polish. The brush is also the paddle-shape brush, making it really easy to use with your nail shape. It dries quickly, too, and based on my experiences, it works with other various brands of nail polish. I would say it works best when used with the essie gel couture line, but it's an overall great top coat for any manicure. Once it starts getting low, I've noticed that it will start to shrink along the edges, and it does get a little thicker due to the exposure to air over time. This is normal with just about every quick drying top coat, though.

After getting acrylics for over a year straight, I needed a break. My nails were brittle and splitting down the nail bed easily. This is the only top coat that makes my nails look and feel like gel polish for at least a week without retouching. Other top coats still allow my nails to split/break, but this one does not. Pros: dries quickly, evens out when applied, works with any color nail polish underneath, makes my nails look like I have gel polish on. Cons: opaque bottle makes it hard to figure out when I’m running out.

Seven days in and my nails have very minimal chipping! I used Essie Strong Start base, two coats of an OPI color, and one thick layer of this top coat. I’ve never had an at-home mani last this long! Definitely recommended!

I don’t have to go to the salon anymore! This nail polish goes on so thick and smooth. It hardens right away. Before this nail polish I never liked doing my own nails at home. This polish makes it so easy even my right hand looks good! Will definitely be buying more colors.

Love love love this top coat! It makes my nails look like gel without all of the extra steps to take it off i used Essie and other brand nail polish it lasts for 2 weeks still glossy and looks like gel and also hardens so my nails don't break easily!

I was very interested to try Essie gel couture. I bought a set of gel couture color and the topcoat. The color was fine, but the brush in the topcoat looks like it has solid pieces or bubbles stuck all over it. The topcoat itself wasn’t thick and I was able to apply it but I couldn’t control the brush well since it was thick with goo(?) and it also took off some of the color as I applied it. I did wait until the color was dry before applying the topcoat. Not sure what to do with this.

Gooey when applied, did not act like a top coat. Worked more like a remover, smeared the polish when applied. Was used with the Essie polish.

This nail polish works really well under heat. I use my hair blow dryer for 2 mins each hand and it dry so fast and looks really nice like a gel! :) recommend trying this after you paint your nail color!💕💕

I love this top coat. I wash my hands and use hand sanitizer so often throughout my day at work, that nail polish rarely lasts a day or two before it chips (which drives me crazy). With this I can easily stretch that to 5-7 days. Even using this with nail polish that’s not the brand, it still helps my manicure last longer. A repeat purchase for me.

LOVE this product! I used over my favorite OPI nail polish. This topcoat is by far the best one I’ve ever tried! Worth the money, easy to apply, quickly drying, nice shine and most importantly durable! I’m not very gentle with my hands and typically polish with other topcoats starts wearing away after a couple of days. Not with this product!
