A: Hi there Casey, Jelly, Jell, Gel…. we know it can get confusing. Jellies are a type of nail color that is brushed on and air dried (vs. the Gels that are cured with a UV/LED lamp). Jelly colors go on sheer, but are made to be applied in multiple layers depending on the finish you want (you can apply up to 4 coats for a more opaque finish). I'm sure it is great but I never received it from my grocery order and there was no way in the app to request help or a refund. Super disappointing as it was for my daughter's Easter basket.

I'm not sure why it's called jelly gloss; this is just regular nail polish. It's nothing special and I wouldn't buy it again.

It’s a really nice color but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking for a jelly polish. The sheerness and opacity is super uneven so it just ends up looking like a polish with bad opacity rather than an intentionally sheer polish. Will definitely be returning unfortunately :(

I really love the look of the sheer jelly polishes, but I found the blue one to have more of a sheer creme finish rather than a jelly one. this photo shows one coat of all the colors plus one of my natural nails. the application wasn't bad, but it wasn't instantaneously even. overall really nice polish, but maybe not for the jelly line!

This took three coats but the drying time is very fast. The amount of product the brush picks up is perfect. This is a pricier polish but I think the quality makes it worth it. I would buy more shades!

This took three coats but the drying time was fast! The classic Essie packaging never misses and the smell was no more overbearing than other polishes.

No matter what I do, this nail polish will not go on evenly and is streaky. I have applied this with one, two and three coats trying to eliminate streaks and it always streaks. I’m extremely unhappy with this product and feel like I wasted money. I would not recommend arctic jelly.

It does last a while before it starts chipping. I was impressed with how well the white covered, other brands I have tried the white do not look as good. The only negative: -It dries very slow. I do not like sitting in one place too long and so I often create “blemishes” in it which I have to go over again. This would not be a good nail polish to use on kids or impatient adults like myself. Overall, I do like this nail polish.
