Developed with Pediatric Feeding Specialists, the Evenflo Feeding Balance + Standard Bottle is designed to support healthy bottle feeding without interfering with your breastfeeding journey. The unique, naturally-sloped nipple promotes a healthy wide latch for your baby by providing a proper resting place for their lips, helping to decrease mouth fatigue. The effective 1-piece integrated vent helps prevent colic, gas, and fussiness with no extra parts to clean or lose. The included Slow Flow Nipple has an intentional, slower flow rate and helps prevent chugging, allowing for a calm, gulp-free feeding at baby's pace. The Balance + Standard Bottle has molded measurement markers in both ounces and milliliters to provide an easy and accurate way to measure the volume of liquid. Q: Are these glass

A: I am pretty sure these are plastic. The specs say plastic and I think their balance glass only comes in wide. Im hoping they come out with a standard glass soon.

However, if you purchase the Evenflo classic glass bottles as well, you can use the Balance + cap rings and nipples on the classic glass bottles. Only the bottle itself is interchangeable. A: Hi New mama, Yes! It is safe to sterilize via a pot of boiling water. Per the CDC recommendations: Bring a pan of water to a boil, add disassembled parts, boil for five minutes. Stir frequently. DO NOT allow parts to rest on bottom of pan as they may melt or become damaged. Thanks!

A: Hi, all Evenflo bottles come with a slow flow nipple. These have been tested and ranked as some of the slowest flow nipples on the market. To locate the flow on the nipple, the Balance + nipples are labeled with a single letter. Find a circle with the letter S, M, or X written inside. S = slow flow, M = medium flow, and X = fast/x-cut flow. You can also locate the flow rate by locating the milk drops: 1 milk drop = slow flow, 2 milk drops = medium flow and 4 milk drops = fast/x-FD.

Q: Is this bottle compatible with the Spectra pumps?

A: Hi, I believe the Spectra bottles are a wide neck bottle, whereas the Evenflo 6pk Balance Standard bottles are standard (not as wide). For this reason, I do not think the bottles you have will work with a Spectra pump. This bottle was recommended by our lactation consultant to help latch better, and has helped get a deeper latch. I also love the anti colic valve. It helped reduce gulping and air intake, making my baby less gassy. Be warned, however, these are standard neck and will require an adapter for Spectra pump. The more narrow neck is also difficult to clean. Would have chosen the wide neck version if I had known about it

I did A LOT of research before my baby was born knowing I was going to nurse and bottle feed. I wanted the best most comfortable option for us both. The newborn nipple slow flow was great! We had no problems and she was enjoying her bottle. Once she hit 3 months out LC said we should increase the flow on her nipples. We ordered the next size up for the medium flow and the entire shape of the nipple is different. I noticed, but prayed she didn’t. She did. It was a nightmare and now she was refusing the bottle. Why on earth would you change the shape?! Know babies and babies and so finicky!? I truly don’t understand. We needed up going with Lansinoh. So not recommended evenflo for this reason. Who knows you may be able to be persistent, but the shape may also be different on the high flow!

Sadly Evenflo has changed their nipples greatly over the last 3 years and the flow “type” is not clear nor consistent. It took us months to find replacement nipples as we had to guess what number/symbol meant what compared to ones we have for our first baby. Great bottle & nipple shape but a pain to find. Also some nipple openings began cracking making them flow too quickly.

These medium flow nipples are horrible. They leak and collapse. There is a tutorial on the website how to avoid the nipple collapsing that shows they acknowledge the product issues but keep selling them. Do not buy

I bought these to upgrade from my daughters slow flow nipples and had to order 5 packs and one of the nipples didn’t have holes in it. Other than that they have been great. My daughter isn’t having nearly as many gas pains since we’ve switched to these bottles.

Evenflo wide neck balance bottles and spectra wide neck bottles are the only ones my baby would accept after WEEKS of bottle refusal (and we started trying bottles at 3 weeks old). Thankful evenflo makes these bottles in glass as I don’t like heating up plastic. I recommend for breastfed babies! I can see her latch on this bottle is wide like it is when breastfeeding.

Love this bottle! Grandma and grandpa said out of all 6 grandkids my daughter has the least amount of spit up with feedings and the only difference is we have only used the evenflo wide neck bottle and my siblings used other bottles.

The bottles actually fit up to 7 ounces. They are super easy to clean, I scrub the nipple with soap and a brush then toss all the parts into the dishwasher every night and they come out sterilized and clean. The plastic bottles left an oily residue from formula if you did not scrub them completely. These seems a lot more sterile.

It doesnt fit any other bottle. Its waste for me . I bought because my lactation consultant suggested, but she yold me this will other bottles as well. It is pretty expensive and alot of shipping charges on it. I cant even return it , because we have to pay for shipping again here in canada to send it back.

You can’t tell which flow the nipple is. There’s no number or letter to show. I prefer the wide versus the narrow. I got the narrow because the wide didn’t have medium flow. The medium flow is quite a two up from slow. My baby would get frustrated from the slow sometimes and I switched the medium but she also didn’t like that one. I’m sticking with medium for now and she’s 3 months.
