Evenflo Hummingbird Carbonfiber Stroller

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used many strollers over the years while raising my 6 kids. We travel a lot as a family so I was extremely excited that the Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me the Evenflo Hummingbird Ultra-Lightweight Carbon Fiber Stroller to test in exchange for my honest feedback. My overall impression of the stroller was great. There were so many positives about the stroller including good quality materials, its light weight, easy maneuverability, ability to hold bigger kids, large storage basket, and super easy 1 hand fold. First of all, the look and design of the stroller are fantastic. It’s super light and easy to steer even with just one hand. The seat can hold kids up to 55lbs so even my 7 year old could sit in it. Second, the large storage basket is super convenient. The basket is very large and easy to access from both the front and back. The basket is open in the front so there is a small risk that small items (e.g, cups, small snack containers, small toys) could fall out from the front but that is only a minor concern. Finally, the fold is really the easiest of any strollers I’ve used. I simply had to push one button and squeeze another on the handle bar and the entire stroller accordion folds together in 1 step. Other strollers I’ve used have a similar fold but after you fold the handle bar, you have to pull a strap on the seat to completely fold the stroller. This stroller, on the other hand, is truly a 1 step 1 hand fold. It’s super quick and easy. The carrying handle was also super convenient and comfortable. Since the stroller was so compact, lightweight and convenient, I liked to keep it in my car and use it for quick trips in and out of stores or to run quick errands. I wouldn’t recommend it for long strolls over rugged terrain but that is not the intended purpose of this type of stroller. My only real complaint about the stroller is that it doesn’t come with a carrying bag or have the option to buy one separately. This is a perfect stroller to take on an airplane but I feel it should have a bag for that. When I’ve traveled on flights with travel strollers before, they have always had a bag with shoulder straps which enabled me to carry the stroller in a backpack. This is especially helpful when boarding the plane so that I could carry the stroller on the plane while also carrying my child in my arms. I wish this stroller had a backpack bag especially given its price point. In summary, the Evenflo Hummingbird Ultra-Lightweight Carbon Fiber Stroller is a great travel stroller or lightweight stroller to use for short outings. I highly recommend it!!

I knew just by lifting the box it was going to be a lightweight stroller. Assembly was incredibly easy just needed to attach the wheels and the cup holder and it was ready to go. The design of the stroller very sleek and the black and gray colors were perfect I steered the stroller around empty and it was incredibly smooth, then added my 23lb 15 month old and it was still just as smooth. My 32lb preschooler enjoyed the walks as well. Our sidewalks are bumpy but this stroller seemed to handle the walks we went on incredibly well and my toddler was comfortable the whole time. The canopy provides a decent amount of shade too. I am 5”2 and this stroller is comfortable for me to steer but the handle comes up higher than other strollers we have owned which is why I would recommend this stroller for taller people as well! The one handed fold took me a few attempts to get it right but it’s a wonderful feature and since the stroller is so light you can fold and put it in the trunk all with one hand. Storage basket was the perfect size for stroller walks. I could bring a few things and also bring along a couple things for my preschool child too. We used this stroller for walks, to run errands and can’t wait to bring this one on our vacation this summer! There is no snack tray for the child but the option to purchase as an add on would be nice since not all parents would use it. Lastly, be aware of where stroller is resting when folded up, part of the stroller where the child’s head rests does touch the ground.

I have an almost 2 year old daughter, so a lightweight and easy to use stroller is a necessity. This stroller is unlike any stroller I've ever used or seen. I love how it folds up super easily and weighs in at just 9 pounds. The stroller is ultra-compact with a thinner body frame that allows you to wheel through tighter or crowded spaces with ease. Evenflo is a trusted brand that produces high quality baby care products and this stroller is no exception. The stroller comes in the box ready to use after just 1 simple step of inserting 2 of the wheels. When the stroller is folded up, it is nicely compact and easy to store in the back seat or trunk of your car. This saves so much space when traveling! The carrying handle makes it easy to carry and the fact that the whole stroller weighs less than 10 pounds is amazing! This is the perfect stroller to take on a weekend getaway, flight, shopping trip or neighborhood walk. The storage basket underneath the seat holds up to 10lb of cargo in addition to the passenger seat holding up to 55lb, and for such a compact stroller this is quite impressive! I love how easily the wheels maneuver around on multiple surfaces and provide an ultra smooth ride. This stroller isn't ideal for rough terrain or quick turns, but it's a very nice one for giving your little one a comfortable and easy-going ride. Since it is so lightweight, you do have to be cautious of how you handle the stroller. The leather handlebar provides a cushy feel and I appreciate the addition of the cup holder for the handlebar, which I discovered also doubles as a place you could store your phone. The handlebar also features the button you can push to fold the stroller back up while using just 1 hand to do so. The Evenflo Hummingbird provides parents and caregivers with convenience and class. The stroller is both attractive and functional and is so easy to use. My toddler and I will never leave home without it! The fact that I can carry it with 1 hand while toting around everything else my child needs is a huge advantage! Having this stroller for everything from running errands to vacations has been wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I am impressed. This stroller is very light weight, which makes lugging it around a breeze. It is also more comfortable for my kiddos (almost 2 and almost 5) than other travel strollers. While I would categorize this as a travel stroller (folds super small and doesn't have things like cross-body bar, large storage basket, adjustable handle bar, etc) it feels sturdy enough that for a moment I wondered if I could ditch my larger stroller, especially since my kids a little older and we don't use our stroller quite as much. We live in a small house and therefore I love that this can fold up and sit almost un-noticed by the door. The other feature that really wowed me is the way it folds and unfolds. It is MUCH easier to fold and unfold than my bigger stroller or my more compact travel stroller. Ultimately, I think this would be a fantastic travel stroller that provides a little more comfort and quality than some other options. It could also work as a main stroller for those who have toddlers and live someplace where they might have to lug a stroller up and down stairs or have limited storage room. I am so grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me a chance to test out this stroller. It is a keeper!

My kiddos are out of the stage where we need a stroller for everything, but it’s still nice to have one for longer trips…or when we need to strap them in for convenience! This stroller fit the bill. It’s about the same size as a tote bag, so it doesn’t take up much trunk space. I love that I can leave it in the car and still have room for a run to the grocery store. The stroller itself has a very sleek, casual look and I love the leather handle and neutral colors. It is SO lightweight. I was shocked at how easy it was to take out of the car and I could easily grab it with the handle and still carry other things at the same time. It was a really smooth ride and easy to maneuver on different trips. I even pushed it while pushing a shopping cart at the same time and didn’t have any issues. The storage basket is perfect size for everything we would need for a trip to the park or zoo, but not sure it would be big enough for a larger diaper bag or for a day trip to a theme park. I could see it being the perfect airport stroller and am excited to use it on an upcoming trip. My youngest is three and she was able to figure out that she could put her feet down and easily maneuver the stroller, so definitely be sure to lock the brake and don’t leave an older kiddo unattended. Overall, for a lightweight, convenient stroller that doesn’t take up a whole lot of space, I highly recommend it!

I spent big money on a beautiful very popular brand named stroller that I loved when my first son was born. However, I will not be going back to it now that I have the Evenflow Hummingbird Carbon Fiber Stroller. It is beyond easy to use from the one-handed folding and unfolding mechanism; to strapping in your child and adjusting the safety harness, every part of the stroller is user-friendly. The best part about the stroller is how light weight it is - it can’t weigh more than 5 lbs, it’s unbelievable. Folded down, the stroller doesn’t take up more room in the trunk than a small bag of groceries. It is the perfect stroller to take on errands, traveling, or just a stroll around the park. It is safe and aesthetically pleasing, and I cannot recommend the stroller enough.

The Evenflo Hummingbird Lightweight Carbon Fiber Stroller is a compelling option for parents seeking a truly portable and convenient stroller. Its incredibly lightweight carbon fiber frame makes it a dream to carry, and the one-handed folding mechanism is a lifesaver for busy parents. This stroller folds down to a remarkably compact size, making it ideal for travel, small car trunks, and tight storage spaces. Maneuvering the Hummingbird is a breeze, thanks to its smooth handling and responsive wheels. The easy-to-adjust buckle and straps ensure your child is secure and comfortable, and the generous sun shade provides excellent protection from the elements, a significant plus for sunny days. However, there are a couple of drawbacks to consider. Firstly, the handlebar height is not adjustable. At 5'7" I found it slightly too high for a comfortable position for my arms. My wife at 5'3" was worse off with how tall the handle was. While not a deal breaker it is definitely something to consider. Secondly, while it includes a cup holder, it's not particularly stable, and you might find drinks tipping over if you're not careful. At first I didn’t think this could compare to my current stroller, but I quickly fell in love with the dynamic of this stroller. Here’s the pros: it is very lightweight and can easily be lifted one handed, it collapses so compact and takes up no space, my toddler loves it and looks comfortable in it, and it has a decent size under storage carriage given the compact size. Cons: due to the lightweight, it tips on sudden turns or uneven terrain. It is definitely meant more for store trips and no so much for neighborhood walks. Overall though, I am impressed with this stroller and absolutely love it!

I was super excited as we do a good bit of travel and like to take walks so I knew it would be perfect. The compact design makes it wonderful for keeping it in your vehicle! It's also the perfect size to fit in some bags to make it easy to carry onto rides, let your little walk, even just to hold your little one with free hands, and even good to store in/under your cart when shopping! This stroller is light weight and that makes this stroller glide like butter! The frame of it is super nice as well. The handle has a wonderful grip! The cup holder is excellent for a drink for mom or little one. It still has enough "weight" to where it won't just fly away or "fall over" which is always good! It is easy to collapse and set up. Can do it easily one handed if needed. If you travel alot or go to theme parks I highly suggest this stroller!!

My baby is turning into a toddler and getting bigger so it is the perfect time for us to switch to a lightweight stroller. This one is astoundingly light and as a result it is easy to maneuver - my 4 year old was even able to help steer without any real issues. I love the one handed fold it's a game changer! The storage basket is a great size - big enough to hold the few things I need to grab at the store if I have to run in with one of my kids. It is also big enough for a diaper bag purse if that is something you need to carry with you.

This stroller arrived almost fully assembled with the exception of 2 wheels that were easy to pop on(total set up less than 1 minute). The lightweight frame made it extremely easy to tote from the car to the shuttle bus, through airport security and throughout the airport. The storage basket at the bottom was surprisingly large given how compact the stroller is when folded and we took full advantage by adding our bookbag to the bottom to lightwn the load of carrying 2 kiddos. The one-hand fold and carry handle made it super easy to fold up when it came time for the flight and stored perfertly in the overhead bin on the airplane. Love this stroller and I'm so glad we had it for our trip!

It folds super slim but is a very spacious stroller with an ample storage space for folding down so small. I like this stroller because it’s easy to unfold and fold as well which makes quick errands with my toddler so easy. The quality is great, the look is great. I highly recommend this stroller. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hummingbird stroller is perfect for traveling & on the go errands. It is SO light and compact. It fits nicely in the trunk of my minivan. It’s very easy to quickly open it up so it’s ready to go. The basket underneath fits a backpack/diaper bag. The sun shade is a decent size. My small toddler is comfortable in the seat and there is plenty of room to grow. The straps adjust quickly between kids, if necessary. My 40 pound four year old is just As comfortable in it. I love that for being so small, it accommodates a 55 pound child. A tiny drawback is the handle does not adjust, and I do think a pivot on the lock latch would be nice. While there isn’t a ton of bells and whistles, we are so excited to use this more for summer trips and not have a huge bulky stroller taking up valuable trunk space. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been looking for a new stroller to live full time in our car, and we had been frustrated by how much space our existing stroller took up. Lucky for us, we had an opportunity to test the new Evenflo Hummingbird Lightweight Carbon Fiber Stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. When we unboxed the new stroller and held them side by side, I was blown away by how much lighter this stroller is thanks to its carbon fiber design. What a difference that makes. Your might think that being lightweight would compromise strength, but it performed really well for us. I tested it with all three of my children, ranging in age from 2-7, with my oldest maxing out its weight capacity. It rolled with ease and fit her height surprisingly well, which is really helpful for when you are out and about and you don't know what kid might end up in the stroller. For a parent, that flexibility is super helpful. The base is compact enough that I was initially worried about stability, but after using it all my hesitations are gone. It is a well designed stroller. The storage underneath could have easily been tiny to help reduce the weight, but it is surprisingly spacious. We were able to fit our fully stuffed backpack style diaper bag underneath with ease. For us, we decided this was the best place for our diaper bag. Due the stroller's extremely light weight, having a heavy diaper bag on the handlebars, like we typically do risked it tipping backwards if we removed the child. A lighter diaper bag might not be an issue, but ours at times is as heavy as this entire stroller. When it is time to store this stroller, I have never encountered a stroller with amenities like this one that folds so compactly. Thanks to its unique folding mechanism, it forms a tight rectangular package that sits upright on its own. It is perfect for living in your vehicle so you always have it when you need it. The mechanism for folding was very easy and well thought out. All around, I am very impressed by this stroller. It is well designed, absurdly light, folds amazingly well, all while being surprisingly spacious and giving many amenities of a full size stroller. I would 100% recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Convenience and compact are two of the qualities I look for most in a stroller and this Evenflo Hummingbird stroller ticked those boxes. This came in a small box so I thought I'd be assembling. To my surprise upon opening it, the stroller only needed two wheels to be clicked in and a cup holder slid on. That was the extend of assembly. I didn’t even have to look at the manual it was self explanatory to unfold and I had it popped up in less than 30 seconds. Now that I really know what I’m doing, I can fold this stroller down and open it up in only 5 seconds. It’s fantastically made. This folds down into a briefcase size with a handle like a briefcase too. Great for taking along with us anywhere we go and will even store nicely on an airplane. This handles very well. I’ve taken my daughter for walks daily and she’s comfortable as can be. The visor expands a good amount and the seat can lean back. The storage compartment is big enough for her snacks and toys and my bag as well. If I had any suggestion at all it would be a snack tray for the kids but then I don’t know if it would interfere with how well this stroller folds down. The fact that this stroller is lighter than my diaper bag automatically deserves a 5 star! I can carry, set up, and collapse this stroller all while holding my toddler in the other hand/hip. It folds up into the size of a briefcase! It’s great for on-the-go (shopping, airports, museums, malls, etc). Ideal for smooth surfaces, but it’s lightweight frame makes it a little difficult on rougher surfaces and any surface lippage. Love the sleek, carbon-fiber look. The 5-point harness is SUPER easy to adjust. It has all the perks of a typical stroller (sunshade, basket storage, cup holder) just more compact. The basket storage is perfect for a quick shopping errand. It’s easy to maneuver in tight spaces, like through doorways or in narrow aisles. Assembly out of the box was as easy as it can be - just snapping in the front wheels. One minor design flaw is that the fold-in locking mechanism protrudes from the frame while expanded and cannot be folded away, which creates a potential poking hazard for accompanying walking children. My toddler loves the ride though and is extremely content and comfortable in the stroller. For a compact, light-weight stroller, there’s not much more you could ask for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have three kids, and have had lots of strollers over the years. This stroller is easily an all time favorite. It is SO versatile! I was amazed how tiny it folds up, and it barely weighs anything. It makes taking the stroller for outings a no-brainer because it fits into any car with no struggle and hardly takes up any space. It is extremely easy to use, even the first time. Right out of the box, it only took about five minutes to get it set up, including taking the time to do the initial strap adjustment for our one year old. I can both carry and unfold it with one hand, which is incredibly helpful as a busy mom on the go. Despite the light weight, it feels very sturdy and doesn't feel frail like some lightweight strollers we've tried. There's no wobble when we push it, and it pushes so easily that even my six year old can manage it effortlessly. Folding it up again is super quick and easy and can be done one handed, too! There is a lot of storage on the bottom, and a detachable cup holder that doesn't interfere with folding or unfolding. If I had to be extremely nitpicky, the only change I would make is for the canopy to fold out a tiny bit more than it does for a little more sun protection. However, it does pull out enough to keep at least their faces covered from the sun. I would absolutely, unquestionably, enthusiastically recommend this stroller to any parent. The fact that it folds incredibly small, doesn't weigh much, and is easy to use with one hand makes it simple and convenient to take on any outing - from running errands to family vacations. We went on a family roadtrip soon after it arrived, and it was the first time we were able to easily take a stroller despite a packed car. I am so thrilled that the Stellar Product Testing Panel sent us this one to try. It has instantly become a favorite. It's a game changer!

It’s a very smooth ride and my 2.5 year old loves to help push my 1.5 year old. The wheels rotate so well and it is easy to turn left and right. It folds up so easily and intuitively, which is such an incentive because I’ve definitely struggled with some others haha. The storage basket was also really large for such a compact stroller which was impressive. It holds all of our necessities. This is our new on the go stroller!

From the moment I unboxed it, I was immediately impressed by how lightweight it was. Assembly was a breeze, taking less than five minutes. For reference, my child is 17 months old and weighs 24 pounds. My primary use for this stroller is for quick trips, errands, and travel, making its lightweight frame a key selling point. Design and Portability The sleek, minimalistic design of the Hummingbird stroller gives it a more upscale look compared to traditional umbrella strollers. It fits perfectly in my car and takes up very little trunk space, making it an excellent choice for travel. I can easily see this stroller fitting in an airplane’s overhead compartment or under a seat. The true one-hand fold and built-in carry handle add an extra layer of convenience, particularly for parents traveling solo. In fact, I will be flying alone with my child in two weeks, and I anticipate being able to fold and check this stroller at the gate without needing assistance—something I struggled with when using my previous travel stroller. Maneuverability and Comfort To test maneuverability, we took a short walk during our first outing. I was pleased to see that my child, who actually fell asleep during the walk, was comfortable in the stroller. The seat offers two positions: upright and a slight recline, which can be adjusted using a simple buckle system at the back. Switching between these positions was seamless, and I appreciated the ability to quickly recline the seat when my child dozed off. That said, the narrow rear wheel frame requires careful handling. On one occasion, my child leaned forward while I was turning a corner, and the stroller nearly tipped over. Additionally, the thin wheels do not perform well on uneven surfaces, making this stroller best suited for smooth pavement and indoor environments rather than neighborhood walks with rough sidewalks or curb transitions. Convenience and Storage This stroller is incredibly convenient for quick outings. The storage basket, while compact due to the stroller’s overall size, can hold a few essentials such as diapers, wipes, a jacket, shoes, and snacks. It can even fit a small diaper bag, but space is somewhat limited. Fortunately, the included drink holder is a nice bonus. One downside for me is the canopy. As a parent of a fair-skinned child who dislikes sunscreen and hats, I rely heavily on a stroller’s sunshade. Unfortunately, the Hummingbird’s canopy does not extend as far as I would like, limiting sun protection. Additionally, the mesh peek-a-boo window on the back is positioned lower than I’d prefer. It’s useful when the seat is reclined, but when my child is sitting upright, it’s difficult to see them through the window. For reference, I am 5’7” tall. Final Thoughts Despite a few drawbacks, the Evenflo Hummingbird Lightweight Carbon Fiber Stroller is a fantastic option for parents who prioritize convenience and travel-friendly features. The lightweight frame, compact fold, and easy maneuverability make it an excellent choice for quick errands and airport travel. While it may not be the best fit for rugged terrain or long walks on uneven roads, it excels in portability and ease of use. After our first outing, I was so impressed that I gave my previous car stroller to my mom—this one simply fits our lifestyle better.

We have a larger full-sized stroller because we live in a city and we walk around a lot, but there are places where a large stroller won't fit. I received this stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to review for my honest opinion. I loved this stroller. it's super lightweight, easy to fold and was SUPER easy to put together. I didn't expect it to be that easy, really. It was easy to clip my child in and easy to tighten the straps. I have a large diaper bag and I slid it EASILY under the seat. As context, for one of my larger strollers, sliding the bag in is a hassle, and so this was something that I was very pleasantly surprised to see. It's also aesthetically pleasing, so that was a plus. This did not look like a cheaper, umbrella stroller. My only complaint is that the brake lock only locks the back wheels so you can still push the stroller if you used (not a lot of) force. My kid got out of the stroller and pushed it around so you can see the issue here. I guess you can fold it up and remove that problem. Honestly, despite this one weakness, this stroller is great. We already have another travel stroller, but my husband and I both agreed that if we were to start our search over, we would purchase this Evenflo Hummingbird over the other one.
