Q: Do I ever have to remove the newborn insert? If yes, at what age. I see pics here with big babies and the insert still on but I've seen it's supposed to be removed.

A: There is no specific age or weight limit on when to remove the insert out from the seat. We advise to remove the insert out from the seat if you are unable to get a proper harness fit on your baby after already adjusting the width and/or the height of the harness on the seat. Its been 11 years since I had my first daughter and now I’m pretty much starting over. The car seat is nice and sturdy, it’s sleek. I purchased it because I really liked the Evenflo reversi stroller and they are compatible. Really excited to use it in September.

We decided on this car seat based on comfort for our little one and overall weight of the seat. Our little guy is now almost 2 weeks and has no problem being in the seat. It was easy to set up before he arrived, husband installed it and uninstalled it multiple times whenever we needed more space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carseat was given to by Stellar Product Testing panel in exchange for my honest review. After using this carseat for about a year now I can confidently say that I would buy this again in the future. It is easy to cleans and has great safety features. The fabric is breathable to keep baby cool which is great in Florida and it is also machine washable for when those inevitable blow outs happen. The fabric may be my favorite feature. The carseat was easy to install however Evenflo also offers online installation assistance (ParentLink) that I did not use. Some other safety features are the 5 point harness, adjustable straps to fit your baby, and safety ratings exceeding safety standards, including rollover.

It seems like an alright car seat. I like how snugly it seems to fit in the seat compared to old ones I've used in the past, which moved around a lot. I also like how easily the back shifts up and down. Load leg is a nice feature as well in this department. I will say, it is longer than I expected (I measured the width to make sure there would be space in the seat next to it, but didn't think to measure how long the thing is, so my wife's now got a lot less leg room but that's alright).

We bought this for our 2nd child and have been enjoying it. Very easy to install and maneuver between different vehicles. The material and technology used here is top of the line. My child feels safe and protected at all times. A much buy for new parents!

The safety ratings are wonderful, its light and easy to set up. It took me less than 10 minutes to set the seat up in the car. I am so glad I was able to test out this product. The extra measure of safety they have added with the leg support really does ease my mind while driving, especially far places. The material is really nice quality, it also is very breathable for hot Florida weather. I would 100% recommend this seat to anyone who is looking for a affordable safe seat. I can’t say enough awesome things about this seat. I would 10/10 recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seat has been great so far and I LOVE how it cradles my baby better than other seats I have used (this is our fourth baby, so we've had a bit of experience with car seats..) We also loved the Load Leg Base as it helped make the seat feel much more secure and like it wasn't going to twist around like in previous seats we've had; it locks/latches very secure and doesn't move so we have that peace of mind from it we hadn't had previously. The seat itself is great, well made; padding is nice, super breathable, and easy to remove for cleaning when needed. Also of note, we live in Las Vegas and the heat is already getting brutal here, but he doesn't come out of it super sweaty, so he is a happier baby for that. This seat installed easy with provided directions, and when my husband was installing, I reminded him there was support for install if needed, he said it wasn't necessary as it was very straightforward and simple which after safety and breathability given where we live is a favorite feature for us. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant seat to test out, it has been great so far and I look forward to using it further as my little one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this infant car seat from Stellar Product Testing Panel. Thank you! Pros: 1. I was able to install this car seat base into our sedan within 15 minutes. Since I’ve never installed a base before and since I had to refer to the directions carefully, I thought this was very quick timing and that the installation was very simple. 2. The base feels very secure in the car. It was easy to adjust the angle of the base and to make sure it was a safe angle for our newborn’s current weight. 3. The special mesh newborn insert and head rest are comfortable and also fulfill the goal of allowing good airflow. This will be perfect for the hot summer months. 4. I do feel confident about the safety features. 5. There is an inch or two of extra leg room for growth. 6. My favorite aspect is the easy, no-hassle harness and headrest adjuster. Instead if needing to re-thread the straps for different heights, there is a simple slide adjuster. This prevents the possibility of twisting the straps. Cons: 1. My husband is 6’2” and he isn’t able to move his seat back quite as far as he would like to if the car seat is directly behind him in the sedan though it is fine when put in the mini van. 2. I was disappointed that the carrier release handle as well as the handle rotation triggers are a bit difficult to compress evenly and effectively. Overall they felt cheap compared to other car seats I have used. Hopefully this will get better after longer use. 3. I did not find the car seat to be significantly lighter than other modern infant car seats.
