A: The LiteMax bases are only compatible with the LiteMax infant seats and the SafeMax infant seats. Please check the model seat that came with the model travel system as the Epic Travel System did come with a few different model infant seats.

This works well as an alternative to the standard Safemax car seat base. It fits well in the seat and is just as secure. If you can’t get the standard Safemax car seat base, this will work just fine.

The base is easy to install, however my vehicle may be a little too old for the design. It doesn’t feel as secure as I would like. I pull my seat belt through the openings provided and there is still a lot of movement of the base on the car seat.

It comes with latch straps that attach directly to the metal loops in the bottom of the seats, which is my preferred way of installing a car seat. The strap was easy to loosen and adjust (almost abnormal for a car seat base!), so this was easy to strap in and then also to move to another seat/car when the time came. Because the strap was so easy to adjust and tighten, I was able to quickly get the base to be very secure so that the car seat itself wouldn't wiggle around (a must, but worth noting because that's normally a real struggle). The versatility of the base is nice too, including some neat little clips to run other straps and seat belts through. I'm very pleased with this base.

This car seat base is surprisingly light which makes sense as the whole car seat is only 8 lb till this face is a very compatible face for that car seat. The base fits snugly and Easley into the car no problem getting it set up. I was actually able to use the latch system as well as the seat belt system as I tried it in several different makes and models of cars. I was very impressed with house nugget fit and I felt very safe I felt like my baby was very secure when she was using that b a s e.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The litemax sport base is super convenient. Not only is it easy to install, but it's simple to carry as it's ultra light. I love the simple level indicator which is handy when installed at different vehicles. I used it at both of our family cars and it was fantastic. The quick latch system is easy to secure the belt with the latches onto the hooks. It's not a bulky design which is always nice but is on a longer side than others. It's very easy to secure the car seat to this base and very simple to unhook. Easy quick and go. For a rear facing installation for my baby it worked great.
