I was BEYOND stoked when I was notified by Stellar Product Testing Panel that I was chosen as one of the panelists to get to try and review this car seat because I just had a baby and also because I had no clue that such an awesome car seat existed! This car seat comes equipped with the sensorsafe technology on the chest buckle, all you have to do is download the mobile app and it will alert you when the car or temperature around your buckled in child is too hot, or when the chest clip comes unbuckled. The fabric is sustainable green and gentle fabric which is free of added chemicals making it safer and more gentle on your precious baby’s skin. & And the base is equipped with the lockstrong technology, for a solid and secure installation. Oh not to mention the base has 180 degree rotation for ease of getting your child in and out of the seat no matter which direction you need. The things I absolutely LOVE about this car seat are of course the safety features. Secondly I love the comfort that the amazing fabric and super plush padding provide my daughter. She loves this car seat and it has made for much less fussiness on trips for me! Adjusting this car seat for my baby was literally a breeze and took less than 5 minutes. The head part of the car seat is also adjustable so you can simply pinch a button and slide the head padding up or down to make sure your baby’s head is safely protected by the head padding. As you can see in the photos I’ve attached, the one of my newborn small daughter, her head is right in the middle of the head padding & I was worried it wouldn’t go down enough for her head because she is small. (6lbs) I can’t forget to mention how amazed I was the first time I carried my daughter out to the vehicle in this car seat because of how light it was with her in it! I had a cesarean section and am not able to lift much but this car seat is EXTREMELY light. It’s such a high quality car seat i expected it to be heavy. Overall I’m blown away by this car seat. The fact that I can have peace of mind while on the go with my baby is something I definitely appreciate. The real time safety alerts are a game changer for the car seat game. The second you snap the chest clip, you’ll see a red light start flashing on it indicating that it’s going to start monitoring the car seat and alert you when the temp is too hot or the baby has been in the seat too long or when the clip comes undone. I absolutely love how easy it was to install the base to both of our cars. We have an SUV and a sedan and it was quick and easy to install into both. There’s a latch on the base that opens so you can really secure the anchor straps tightly as well, which is sometimes where the headache comes in while installing other seats. The one-handed 180 degree swivel is fantastic when putting the car seat in the car. I didn’t find it as helpful when pulling the baby out because the release button in the seat is behind the head. I’m only 5’ 2” and trying to reach around the head to release the seat from the base while it’s swiveled in my SUV is just hard for me. You can tell just by looking at the seat that your newborn will be comfortable and safe. The material is soft and eco friendly as well as padded for extra comfort and support for your little one’s body. There are also high quality pads on the straps of the seat belt and buckle. My baby is 16 lbs currently and she fits perfectly into the seat. The only thing I don’t like is how the buckle pad causes the seatbelt to press into her legs pretty hard, she has very chubby legs, and that I can’t seem to get the seatbelt as tight as I want to. I’m going to try removing the pads to see if it helps. I love the ease of the handle rotation since the buttons are on the back instead of the front. This makes it simpler to move the handle when putting your baby in and out of the seat. My baby just turned 7 months and I’d say the only hard part was adjusting the height for her head. The canopy is in the way of the release button so it’s a little difficult to raise and lower. I do love how the canopy is able to cover my baby’s face more as it comes past the carrier handle. My other infant seat doesn’t do this and my poor baby always has sun in her eyes. The canopy for the Revolve180 Litemax NXT Rotational Infant Car Seat protects her from the sun at all times. In terms of the other safety features, it’s really awesome how you can connect to an app to be notified of your baby being too hot in the car or if you walk away from the car with your baby still in it. Postpartum is different for all moms and each pregnancy, even if you don’t think you’ll ever need this extra feature, it gives you peace of mind to know that it’s there.

He also seems very comfortable in it which is an improvement from his last car seat. Installation was quick, easy, and painless which I really appreciate. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third infant car seat and each of them are different brands, so right off the bat I saw some features that were totally different than the others. I’ll start off with the pros. I like the clean green materials used. The cushions seem comfy for baby. And I really love how lightweight the car seat was! Another thing that is good is how easy it is to adjust the seat up and down just by using the headrest. Things that were good, but not necessary would be the rotational base. The whole point of the infant car seat is to be able to pop the whole car seat off and take it with you. So it’s very rare that I leave the car seat attached to the base and take baby out. I also like the idea of the sensor safe buckle, but it says there is a magnet in there and I’m a little weary of how safe it is to have the sensor so close to the baby. Cons: I don’t like the material of the visor- it feels cheaply made when I move it back and forth. I also think that the buttons to move the handle should be higher up because the position of them is tricky to move. Another thing I would change is the way you loosen the straps is way too hidden. If I had grandma watching my baby I surely don’t think she’d figure it out. Also, the seat is very compact and I think my 6 month old baby is already pushing the limit for the height. When I started playing around with the rotation feature, I’m pretty sure my brain said something like — “this is amazing!” My son is 7 months old and very tall so I’m always worried about bumping his head on the doorframe while getting in/out of his other car seat (sorry little buddy). But I haven’t had to worry about that at all with the rotating feature! I can also tell the rotation feature will be a lifesaver as he continues to gain weight and also for when he refuses to bend his legs/sit down into his car seat. The angle really does make a difference. We put the Revolve180 Litemax in our second car, which is just a small 4-door sedan. The car seat fits easily in the back and surprisingly doesn’t take up a lot of room. I also appreciate the fact that the seat fabric doesn’t have any added chemicals because my son is constantly trying to lick the headrest and put it in his mouth. This might be a personal preference, but I’m not really a fan of having a canopy on a car seat. That’s really my only complaint so far and we’re probably going to remove it.

The level indicator is very convenient to make sure the seat is placed correctly. Several other indicators confirm everything is locked in position and are easily visible in red and green colors. I installed this car seat in my compact crossover and really like the turning feature which makes it easier to get my baby in and out of the vehicle. It fits great and I was able to use the one-hand rotation, although due to the weight of my child there is some resistance when turning. The car seat itself without the base is light. The base, when in the rotated position, does not lock so I struggled a little bit aligning the seat back in place. My infant is on the larger side, so I imagine I won’t be able to use it for very long. Overall,I do think this car seat is a great option for newborns. I love all the safety features. At first I thought it was silly to have an infant seat that rotates, but our first day in use it was useful! My husband drives a pickup so getting any infant seat into it can be tricky, and even trickier when leaving the car seat in the car but taking the baby. The rotation made it so easy to get our little guy out of the seat! My absolute favorite part about the seat is the way that the shoulder straps get adjusted. Rather than having to unthread and rethread the straps to adjust the shoulder height, you just adjust the head rest up and down. The straps adjust in a matter of seconds! On top of that, I love that there is a head rest even when the infant insert comes out. We take a lot of road trips and he just seems more comfortable in this seat. I like the ability of the car seat to alert my phone too. It lets you know when the buckle is opened and closed. I have also received alerts when it thinks I have left him in the car. I really like that alert because it still beeps and even talks to you, even when the phone sound is off. It also keeps sending alerts until you are back with the baby. I have only had one issue with the car seat, and that was with the base. While this base is probably one of the easiest bases to install, it was kind of hard to get the strap tightened since it was on the inside of the car and the top of the base got in the way when it was opened. The rest of the install was very simple. I love this seat and I know that the Evenflo brand provides the safety and comfort I want for my family.

From the moment I installed it, I could tell it was designed with both convenience and safety in mind. My favorite feature is the one-hand, 180° rotation feature. This was a total game changer! One of the things I was starting to struggle with my previous car seat as my baby was getting bigger was I kept bumping her head into the car ceiling as I was trying to twist her to get her out from the side. With the 180° rotation feature, it made getting my baby in and out of the car much more effortless and so much smoother with no more awkward bending or struggling and crying. The seat comes with safety features via your phone app of four potential unsafe conditions - unsafe ambient temperature, child unattended, child buckled too long, and unexpected chest clip unbuckling. It was simple to connect to the Bluetooth buckle and add family members. These kinds of features can be frustrating to connect to and use, but it was not an issue and the notifications are appropriate. As you can see on my photos, I received real-time voice-activated alerts with the countdown feature. There are three levels of alerts. The app notifies you first two times of any one of the four unsafe conditions and then it notifies your chosen family members if you don’t respond to the alert. Just to test it, I purposely didn’t respond to the notification, and my sister got the alert right away. She was so impressed with how quickly it worked! In fact, my family members thought this was such a useful feature that they asked me to add all of them as emergency contacts for the car seat. At first, I didn’t think this was something I needed but now that I have it, it definitely provides me with much more peace of mind to have that extra layer of security, knowing that if I ever missed an alert, my loved ones would be notified instantly. In terms of the fabrics, they’re not the plushest seats out there but very comfortable and soft. What I appreciate a lot is that they’re free from added chemicals and flame retardants. My baby is in that stage where she nibbles on the chest straps pads pads and scritchy-scratchies everything in sight, so it’s a relief knowing the materials are non-toxic for her curious little hands and mouth. The installation process was quick, hassle-free, and secure in just minutes - very similar to other high end baby seats we have. My baby didn’t need the infant insert that came with the seat and it was easy to take the insert off to customize the fit. We were currently using a car seat that converted into a stroller prior to trialing this one through Stellar Product Panel. Having a car seat that converts is very important to our family, however if that’s not a feature you need then this would be a great option. The car seat itself is incredibly lightweight and the base took 5 minutes to install. I love that it is made with green fabrics and does make me feel better about my baby spending so much time in it. The safe sensor is a nice touch but isn’t super high on my priority list, with my baby being 4 months old I’m not too concerned with him unbuckling himself. I do like the fact it has a temperature sensor, I have worried with our other car seat that our baby has gotten hot. I think this car seat is good for its price, it just depends on what features are most important to you.

Instructions for installation were very clear, and I liked that the base pops open to secure the belt. To start, I will provide the pros: I love the fact that the car seat is lightweight and easy to carry around. My 7-month-old son seemed pretty comfortable in the seat and fit well. I love the non-rethread harness adjustment, which makes it so easy to adjust when they are constantly growing. The app was a pretty cool added feature, providing real-time alerts showing the temperature and advising when the chest clip was clipped/unclipped. It even has a safety notification alert if you leave your baby unattended or buckled for too long. I love that the fabric is free of chemical flame retardants, which is very important to me and something I look for when it comes to baby products. The one-hand 180° rotation made it easy to get my baby out if I was putting him in his stroller or carrier. Now for the cons: Installation of the base was a bit difficult and took a bit of strength to feel secure. The incline of the seat seemed a bit off when clicked into the base, even after adjusting the recline foot. The buckle pockets are too far down to be really useful when putting my baby in. The canopy seems a bit short, although it does keep the sun off my baby’s face. The fabric felt soft; however, I did not feel the quality matched the price point. I am also a bit disappointed that the car seat is currently only compatible with one stroller. Overall, it’s a good car seat that does its job, but not quite perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this car seat! I was using a high end car seat from another brand prior to this and although it worked, it was so heavy and did not swivel. The fact that this is lightweight but still feels sturdy and safe is much easier to use. My favorite feature however is the fact that this swivels towards you, both left or right, and makes it a breeze to get my baby in and out. What a fabulous invention! I’ve included pictures that show where the button is to turn, it’s easy to use and this turns very smoothly. A small window turns from red to green when this locks into place so you can be sure it’s safely back in the rear facing position before driving. This also is a beautiful car seat, I love the color and the fact that it is s safe fabrics. I can’t say how easy it is to wash up since I haven’t had to clean it yet but I imagine it will clean up nicely when needed due to the type of fabric. Now to mention the safety features which also set this apart, I love the technology that this has. It alerts you if your car is too hot or cold, if the buckle comes loose, and even notifies you if you walk away too far from the car with the seat still buckled. With all these features, this is such a great value. I absolutely love this and am so much happier with this than my previous seat! I personally did not love this car seat despite all of the features that it has. Let’s start with what I did love: 1) The car seat itself is very lightweight and easy to carry. I loved how easy it was to carry my baby around in this seat because my arms didn’t quickly grow tired. 2) The swivel base of the seat was easy to use and did make taking my baby in and out of the car so much easier. 3) I loved the chest clip with SensorSafe. The added peace of mind was great. The app was easy to install and test out. The app will literally talk to you if your phone separates from the car seat while your baby is still clipped into the seat. I figured this out when I passed my baby off to my husband at home and went back out to do a quick errand. The app gave a verbal message that I left the baby behind. 4) The chest clip was easy to buckle and unclip. The protective shoulder pads on the straps were also so long and stayed in place, which helped prevent straps twisting and made buckling much easier. Now, what I did not love: 1) The setup for the base was a little challenging. It was hard to get the base secured tightly in my car, and it slid around a lot. I prefer a base that tightens itself. 2) The base also has an angle that is far too high. When my baby was in the car, his seat was so far inclined that he looked extremely uncomfortable. He cried every time he rode in this seat. 3) There are slits on the sides of the car seat to hold the buckles out of the way while you take your baby in and out of the seat. These are placed far too low to be functional, and also are not deep enough. 3) The handle does not move into very many positions. It can be moved into the carrying position, or directly to the top of the seat and no further. 4) It is hard to find the button to push to release the straps and take your baby out of the seat. 5) There is 0 foam in the headrest to act as a crumple zone in the event of an accident. 6) The seat itself is extremely narrow. 7) The shade on the car seat is too short to be functional. 8) For the price point, this car seat both looks and feels rather cheap. Overall, the bad outweighed the good when it came to this car seat. For the price point, I think that that this seat is far too expensive for what it offers. Other seats in this price range look and feel worth the price tag, whereas this one just looked and felt cheap. I also just didn’t feel comfortable putting my baby in the car in this seat despite the added safety features of the SensorSafe clip. Overall, I’m happy with this car seat. It’s convenient, safe, and eco-friendly, though it may not work for big babies.
