I’m so in love with this car seat! I worried that it would be too short or too difficult for my 6’ husband to push comfortably but it extends to a great height, doesn’t feel too tall for me or too short for him. It seems like a great fit for our family

I was excited to try the Evenflo Shyft for my newborn, but unfortunately, it didn’t even make it to its first use. The handle got stuck right out of the box, and no matter what I tried, it wouldn’t budge. I attempted every possible fix, but it was completely jammed. Additionally, the stroller felt shaky and not very solid, adding to my concerns about its durability. The overall quality felt poor and disappointing for a product in this price range. I ended up returning it and went with the Doona instead, which has been fantastic so far. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere!

The buttons stick and don’t extend when you need them to. The whole thing is squeaky and cheap, highly highly do not recommend. If you were 50/50 trying to decide whether or not to get this, DONT!

There are luxury details like the sensor that I love. Being able to take the wheels off is very convenient, but having them when I need them is great too. I definitely recommend this car seat.

Love the idea of this car seat and the additional functionality, but it feels cheaply made - the handle bar is wiggly and it became super difficult to collapse the stroller the more we practiced. We will be returning and opting for the Doona!

Honestly I was hoping for a great stroller/car seat combo but I keep finding things that I do not like or that I feel as unsafe with the Evenflo Shyft DualRide. SAFETY CONCERNS—The plastic frame overall feels cheap, light and not very durable. I’d be interested to see the crash test safety on this because no matter how tight the base is secured to my seat, the car seat itself moves a good bit, way more than any other car seat I’ve owned. The rebound bar does not seem like it will do any good in my car but it is what it is. Another safety concern is the chest clasp and how unsecure it feels (also again feels like cheap plastic and not something I nessessary want to protect my child with). DISLIKES— Evenflo needs to sell the additional car seat base. End of story. It is such a pain in the rear to always be the driver because my car has the base in it. Of course they say it is not necessary to have the base, But it is a safety concern in my opinion. I truly feel that my child is not 100% secure without some kind of anchor lock. There are so many different car seat manufacturers out there that sell the base, INCLUDING EVENFLO in their other models. Get with the program. Another thing that I dislike about it is the wheels are cheaply made. You’re gonna find that these wheels do not maneuver well through any terrain. The wheels roll best on smooth concrete and not so well on any rough terrain. Actually, you’re going to find that I’m going to say in this review that lots of things with this car seat are cheaply made. Overall, save your money and get a car seat that is going to protect your child or children and keep your mind at ease, knowing that they are safe and a sturdy everlasting car seat.

This is my second Evenflo stroller and I have to admit that I went from better to the best. 6 years ago I had purchased the two piece stroller + car seat at a competitive market price. Now I am in love with the dualShift as it combined all in 1. The only inconvenience is the weight. Yes, it's a bit heavy but it's okay.

I USED MY CAR SEAT TWICE. On my way to a drs appointment the car seat would not fold to place it on my truck! It got stuck after my missed appointment i was finally able to fold it again! VERYY BAD QUALITY AND INCONVENIENT. I can’t believe I paid such a high price for this quality. I REALLY wanted to love this car seat.

I’ve had this stroller for little over a year and it’s only getting worse and worse. The wheels get stuck and getting just the car seat out without the wheels is a struggle. In the very beginning my baby would constantly have blowouts because of how she sat in the seat as well. Not worth it.

Too many issues. First of all the wheels get stuck everytime I try to fold it. I have to open and close it until it finally folds. And it's a very heavy stroller so this is not easy to do. Then the buttons on the handle bar also get stuck ever through the bar is all the way in. Next, the sensor clip will constsnlt go off that child is in car meanwhile child is next to me at store. Lastly, you can't actually use without a base like they claim because no car has a long enough seat belt. I tried this on all 3 of vehicles and I'm unable to use it without the base. Disappointed.

I wanted to love this but there’s definitely some design flaws. The back of the car seat comes off it a bit so the baby’s head is pushed forward. The traditional style with the different holes for the shoulder straps work a lot better. Also my chest clip broke after a couple months of use, which they replaced for me. I’m glad I had a backup car seat to use because I was a week without. I love how the wheels can come off, but annoying that it has to be in the base for wheels to come off. I also love the length of the sun shade. Overall feels really cheap for the price. I hope they come out with a newer model with some changes, because the concept is genius & I love the option for the wheels to detach!

Smooth Strolling in Style

Being a first time mom, it was overwhelming with trying to find the right stroller that checks off a decent amount of the boxes. Smooth, simplistic, and safe are those main boxes. Sleek and stylish are bonuses. But what we really love about our Shyft DualRide Infant Car Seat Stroller Combo is how smooth it rides when we have it in stroller mode. The first time we used it as a stroller we were like “oooo these wheels are real nice and Smoot.” It’s super convenient to have the 2 in 1 and to be able to transition from car seat to stroller. Transitioning from car seat to stroller is a bit more seamless than from stroller to car seat. It sometimes takes us a few rounds and playing around with the lever to collapse and get it back to the car seat and that can be a bit shaky resulting in waking our baby up. Our little one was on the smaller side when he was born but it was so great that we were able to adjust the straps to fit him safely when we brought him home. Some other nice elements are the storage bag, the handles extending high up for shorter folks, and easy install of the car seat to the base. The base is a bit heavy so it may be a little challenging to travel with, if needed. But the car seat by itself feels lighter and manageable to maneuver around with. The most important thing is that our son loves being in his ride, he is comfortable riding in it and nothing beats that!
