[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gray Away Instant Root Cover Up spray in Dark Brown does what it says it does. As a forty year old woman who’s young at heart, I enjoy getting my hair professionally colored but I always seem to stretch out the appointments as much as I can to save some money. I was able to use the spray to cover up my gray roots and the color match worked well. However, I didn’t love the texture of my hair after applying- thickened and rough. After waiting the appropriate amount of time to dry, the color can still rub off and get under my finger nails which is not a pretty sight with the darker shade. I recommend applying to hair that is already styled and using a tissue to cover the face/skin if your skin is sensitive like mine.
Covers the gray and doesn’t damage hair.

The application is straightforward and simple to apply. What I like about this product is that it lasts until my next shampoo and I don’t have to worry about transferring. They normally blend and look like highlights except when I pull my hair back as shown in my pics. I used this to make the streaks just a bit less white and a little more blond. I think it worked perfectly! It’s subtle, but exactly what I would want. It does come out with some force when you spray, which seemed a bit aggressive to me.

It's easy to apply and practical. It covers gray hair very well. It doesn't have a heavy smell. The applicator facilitates good results, and its use is easy thanks to its thin spray tube.

It doesn’t look like it’s fake. It blends in with my hair. I absolutely recommend this. They have a lot of different shades to choose from and the value is pretty decent and the sun is not too bad either.
It really covers the grey hair. Smells good too

I found that using short bursts of spray works best rather than a continuous spray. This product has never disappointed me. Once you become accustomed to the spray flow, I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do. It provides complete gray coverage until the next wash, and the color lasts until it’s rinsed out. I have a lot of gray hair, and this is the best spray color I've tried. It stays on until I wash it out. The targeted spray nozzle prevents the spray from getting on my face or clothes, but I still cover my face with my hand when spraying around my hairline at the front. Scent is ok.
