The flow rate drops significantly in the first 2 months. Not a 6 month filter. And I live in an area with great water. I use the filter to remove clorine and any minor particulates. I need to find another filter.

Can I give 0 star. Got first, flow stops after few seconds, got a replacement same issue. I guess I can give 1 star for service. It was promptly replaced. Still frustrating that it's not working. Will have to look for another brand.

I keep buying this and replacing the one on my fridge every six months. Each time, I think something is going to change with the water/ice quality. Nope. There is ALWAYS a yucky white residue at the bottom of our glass when the ice melts and the water comes out. I don't know what this is. It is almost like water scum sitting at the bottom of the glass.

I am a long time user of these filters but I am no longer happy with this filter. The flow rate was slower than normal at the beginning and has dropped drastically since then. Two months of use sees the flow rate at less than 50% of what I used to get. We are no longer happy with this filter and am looking for another brand to try.

This filter causes the water flow to slow down to a trickle with 65% use left remaining. This is the second filter to do this in a row. The quality has become very poor the last year.

Have been purchasing my filter for years from here and having the filters delivered to my door is great. Price is better if you get a subscription which you can cancel any time and change or skip deliveries if needed. Great service!!

Installed our fridge in February and have gone through 4 filters since then. Most recent one was installed September 25th and started out great (as they all have) but is no a trickle. Not even 2 months of use. I’ve never replaced filters this quickly in 20 years of owning fridges that require water filters.

I bought this filter installed in fridge and ran the 4 gallons to flush it out and after testing the water with my TDS tester the water reads worse then my tap water. Will not but again.

I bought 3 R1DXD1 filters and two are defective. One wouldn't register at all in the slot and prevented water from flowing and the other worked for a couple weeks, maybe 3, with infrequent use, less than 3 gallons total, and now I had to pull it out because it's stopping the flow. At these prices, this is a huge rip off. What a waste of a lot of money.

I have ordered this filter for a couple years now. Twice I have had one that flows so slow it is totally frustrating. I am not one who enjoys writing a bad review but these are expensive and I would rather change to PUR than keep getting these filters that do not work correctly.
