Q: can this pick up crums and dust on a hardwood surface or can it only handle larger debris?
A: Good afternoon and thank you for reaching out with your question! The Evolution 3 has 2 brush height settings making the unit suitable for most carpeted areas of the home. The Low setting should be used on low pile carpets and rugs while the hi setting is best suited for the cleaning of longer pile carpets. Regularly check the brushes and remove trapped fluff and debris to keep your sweeper operating at maximum efficiency. The case can be wiped with a damp cloth but do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids.

Q: Is this sweeper good for tile and hardwoods?
A: Thank you for your question. Yes the 830 can transition between hard floor and carpet easily with the adjustable height setting. It has a large 22cm sweeping path with durable nylon tufted brushes that provide excellent pick up performance on any hard floor surface. Q: Will this sweeper work well on Berber carpet at it's highest setting? Need to pick up hair (mine & my cat's). Would also use on low nap bathroom/kitchen mats using the lower setting.
A: Good morning! Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. Yes! The Evolution 3 is great for both of your carpets. When you use the settings it does matter how high the carpet is as to what setting you put it one. So it may be that setting two works well for both, but that is something you can play with if you decide to purchase the 830. IT is a great little carpet sweeper. Q: Would this be suitable for a child? It appears from the picture that the handle comes in three parts, but the answer to the question above is making me think twice. Can you please confirm>?
A: Good morning, and thank you for reaching out to us with your question. The Evolution 3 handle, aka 830, does come in three parts. After the handle is assembled it is about 45 inches in height, and not telescopic. I do need to mention here that we do not recommend anyone under the age of 14 use any of our units for safety reason. That is generally stated in each of our manuals in the safety sections. Q: What are the height adjustments?
A: Thank you for your question. The carpet sweeper only has one handle height. It is 43 inches tall from the ground to the top of the handle. Some of our Ewbank units do have telescopic adjustable handles but the sweepers are fixed handles. But they also pivot so you can stand a little farther back or closer to the unit depending on comfort. Thank you! ~Ewbank Team
