Exhilarating

Nate and Laura’s story is one of hope and healing and forgiveness when it feels impossible. I’ve really enjoyed Author Misty M. Baller’s Hearts of Montana series, and this one has affirmed that sentiment. I appreciate the way that the story flows so naturally. Faith’s Mountain Home is an easy-to-read book that had me engaged and eager to keep turning pages until the end. It was very easy to get lost in the writing and, more often than not, I found myself forgetting everything around me and losing all sense of time as I explored this lively tale! Ms. Beller did a phenomenal job with this novel, and the feelings I got from it will stay with me for a long time to come. Great work!
Great Series Conclusion!

This book is another example of Misty M. Beller's ability to transport readers back to another time and place with her vivid descriptions of the beauty of the Montana Mountains and the harsh living conditions that existed there in the late 1860s. Settler's Fort in the Montana Territory is the setting of Faith's Mountain Home and Laura Hannon is faced with some painful decisions when she finds that two of the men responsible for her recent kidnapping are now with her at the fort. Aaron Long is seriously injured and in need of medical care but can she set aside her painful memories to help him? His brother Nate regrets his actions and has turned to God but will Laura accept that he is truly a changed man? I admired Nate for his determination to change and Laura for her encouragement but it is their growing attraction that makes this so special. Faith's Mountain Home is a heartwarming story of faith, forgiveness, and redemption and it's the perfect way to end the Hearts of Montana series. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys historical Christian romance. I received a complimentary copy from the author via Celebrate Lit. There was absolutely no obligation for a positive review. These are my own thoughts.
Third in Hearts of Montana series

This book is the third book in Hearts of Montana series and it continues the journey of Nate and Aaron with fluency, skill, and depth expected from this beloved author in 1867 Montana Territory. I would highly recommend reading this series in order since the each book picks up where the previous left off. Laura struggles from her kidnapping incident though she's settled in to being the town doctor's assistant. Her sweet, tender, and ever helpful spirit is also stricken with the fact that she accidentally shattered Aaron's leg. Nate, Aaron's twin and a reformed thief, works hard and saves every penny so that he can repay those whom he robbed in the past. Though plagued by past insecurities and hurts, Laura and Nate cling to their faith and hope, which is incredibly heart-warming. This book is a bit different from the author's usual fare - it concentrates less on battling wintery forces and wilderness of the western mountainous frontier but centers around the growing mining town and the dangers of greed. The themes of overcoming adversity and bitterness, true forgiveness, as well as relying on God and His strength and timing are studded throughout the story and bring much hope when Laura and Nate are facing difficulties and uncertainties. If you enjoy historical romance, you will definitely enjoy this book. I received the book via Celebrate Lit Tours and was under no obligation to post a positive comment. All opinions are solely my own.
Romance in the Mountains

Faith's Mountain Home, third of the Hearts of Montana series, focuses on Laura and Nate, who were characters in the previous book. It was great to read their story, but a new reader needs to know that author Misty M. Beller fills in the details completely, making this book stand alone well. Laura and Nate both desired to move past their difficult childhoods and recent events, and were making strides to do so. Laura sought to be useful and live a meaningful life, while Nate worked to pay for his past misdeeds. Both were growing in their faith and found purpose in helping others. I found both to be likable characters. The plot moved forward well, with enough surprises to keep me happily turning the pages. The author was quite descriptive of the mountain terrain, so I had a picture in my mind's eye that helped me as I read. This is a wonderful book for those who enjoy Christian historical romance, and a welcome addition to the series, which I recommend. I received an e-ARC of this book from the author, through Celebrate Lit, for review purposes. The thoughts expressed here are my own.
Must Read Historical

What a wonderful conclusion to the Hearts of Montana series. I was sucked right in as I was waiting for Laura’s story after getting to know her in book two. I love how this author gives us hope and it shines through even in the midst of difficult times. I enjoy reading about the 1800’s and how difficult life must have been in such rugged country and with unscrupulous people. This book is a complete package with adventure, romance, faith, and history. The characters come alive on the page and I loved the addition of Eagle Soaring and Bright Sun and also revisiting characters from previous books. I definitely recommend reading. I received a complimentary copy from the author/publisher. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.
Beautiful Historical Romance of Redemption!

This is the third installment in the Hearts of Montana Series and it is as good or more than the previous two. I loved it! I love books about life in the mountains, and how people that live in such out of reach places help and watch out for each other. This is Laura Hannon’s story. She appeared in the second book where she was kidnapped while taking care of her friend's young son. This is her chance to a happily ever after. But it won’t be easy… Other than the trauma of the kidnapping, Laura carries a heavy burden because she accidentally shot a man in the leg, and that man is falling into depression and may not be able to walk again. But that ma, Aaron, was one of her kidnappers, even if he didn’t harm her, so she still wavers with her grudge against him, but tries to redeem herself by nursing him, along with Dr. Micah, to recovering his ability to walk. Then there’s Nate Long, Aaron’s twin brother, who wasn’t part of the kidnapping gang, but who has recently repented from his lawless ways. Nate has recently discovered his faith in God and is trying to atone his past mistakes, and to pay to all the people he and his gang wronged. So he works tirelessly at the mine, and the rest of the time, he spends trying to lift his brother’s spirits… This is where he gets to know Laura better, he already admired her since first sight, and he can’t help wishing he could be worth of such a beautiful woman inside and out. But can she ever see past his past? Adventure, danger, a mysterious discovering in a cave that may not be uninhabited, as they first thought will be things that will bring them together. But can Laura get over what happened to her and to forgive and forget who Nate was and embrace him as he is now? The message of a story was deep and humbling: in one word, redemption. Two broken souls need to forgive themselves in order to love more freely and deeply, in an unconditional way. Providential circumstances throw them together and with honesty, selflessness and kindness they will find the liberating peace that can only be found in God, in trusting His forgiveness, His unconditional and always vigilant Love. I liked the way the message was portrayed. Nate’s conversion was humbling and honest. Laura has gone through so much, I understood her reluctance to trust anyone, even God, if not purposefully. The plot was engaging. They were twists, like the mystery in the cave, that made it more interesting. The characters were realistic and relatable, flawed, yet wanted to start anew. The romance was sweet, if a bit slow, but it was very endearing. I loved the natural descriptions of the landscape, it was vivid. I liked seeing the characters from the previous books, and how they are faring. Like a growing family. This is definitely a book and a series I recommend. Misty M. Beller never disappoints with her historical romances! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the Publisher but wasn’t required to post a positive review. This is my honest and unbiased opinion.

I love Misty M Beller’s writing and adore her Hearts of Montana series. I was excited to find out that the third installment from the series was releasing. It was an honor to have the opportunity to read Faith's Mountain Home and was far from being disappointed. Even though it is part of a series, I believe it can be read as a stand alone. I enjoyed reading Nate and Laura’s story. I was not sure about Laura at first but she quickly grew on me as I saw how much she had grown throughout the book. This was a wonderful, faith filled and inspirational tale. I loved it. I am giving Faith's Mountain Home a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who enjoy reading clean historical romance. I received Faith's Mountain Home from the publisher. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
Beautiful conclusion!

The author has given us a wonderful conclusion to the Hearts of Montana series. The detailed scenery makes you feel like you are on that mountain side along with the well developed characters as they work through the past to find a future in Settler’s Fort, Montana. The physical pain as well as unforgiveness felt by Aaron, due to poor choices, was palpable. It seemed to be impossible to help him, even if you were his twin brother, Nate. Finding a cave with its own mysteries gives Laura and Nate a chance to focus on helping someone else. Between danger, kidnapping and surprises the story brings the reader around to a lovely end to this series where forgiveness and trusting in the Lord make all the difference. An ARC was received through Baker Publishing Group and NetGalley. The rating, impressions and comments are my own and were in no way solicited.
