My kids love this game and I love it too! My only issue is that the strings can become tangled in the box. I recommend wrapping the string around the rods and using a rubber band to keep it in place. Our string became so tangled that I had to cut the string off the rods and replace it with twine.
almost perfect!

This is a cute little game that my kids can play together who are 3, 7, and 8. I love that it stores inside the case and easy to take to grandparents or friends house to play.

I bought this fishing game for my two year old. She enjoys it, particularly when she selects a crab fish. I like that the activities for the game will grow with her. As a super organized and attention to detail person, it bothers me that a few of the letters and numbers are in a smaller font and that the tackle box doesn’t line up when latched, but most people probably wouldn’t even notice this. The fishing rods have a little notch to help keep the lines secured and prevent tangling. Fun toy!
Not worth it!

Horrible, we put them back in the box and now they’re all stuck together and ripping apart when trying to untangle
Great concept, horrible execution

I am shocked the reviews of this are so positive. Fishing poles - top pops off, fishing line comes untied from the cap constantly Magnet - magnets are VERY weak. I’d say my hand eye coordination is pretty good as an adult and even I am frustrated by it. The concept is excellent. We play with the cards and fish without the poles, picking up the fish to match the card.

My son hasn't stopped playing with this since we bought it. I love the education part of it and he clearly loves the fun the game offers.
Great concept. Poor quality.

I love the concept of this game. And my 2.5 year old really enjoys. But the quality is really lacking. The first time I bought it, the string on one of the reels completely unraveled. I returned it and bought another one. As I was unwrapping one of the reels, the bobber and about an inch of string broke off. The string seems to be very weak.

Got this to share with my 3 year old. He is just getting the dexterity to fish, and we try to catch the same colors and then we sort them. There are a variety of games you can play with this- colors, numbers, letters and others. I buried the fish in some blue dyed rice and added the caught fish to colored bowls.

My 4 year old loves this game! We love that there are different ways to play and the adorable tackle box to store the pieces in. My only complaint is that the string came undone from one of the poles and unraveled quickly, making it impossible to fix. Currently researching if there’s a way to get a replacement pole. I still highly recommend this toy.

Great game for toddlers and preschoolers. My 2.5 & 4.5 year olds kept the letters/numbers face up and would match the fish to what they saw on the card. This game will easily grow with them as they work on memory, recall, and reading!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fishing game is so much! We actually enjoyed playing this as a family and not just the kids. This is great game for kids to help with working with letters and numbers. This is also great for color recognition. My son is 5 and going into kindergarten this year. He has a lot of fun looking for the different letters and numbers. His favorite game to play is the “go fishing” game with his sister (she’s 9). They played that game for hours last weekend! This is a great educational game for kids and it comes with a case to keep everything in. I definitely recommend this game. I received an incentive to write this review.

Loved this product for the educational aspect mixed with the opportunity to work on gross motor skills. Plus, it was also fun to follow the cards, and so happy there were 4 rods included, so no tears about not being able to play too!

This is the cutest game and set up for toddlers. I love the tackle box to store everything in, as it is great quality and so realistic. The game offers so much learning for kids and is fun for the whole family! I completely recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this game was surprisingly fun and engaging for all three of my kids ages 4, 4, and 6. Unlike most fishing style games there is more to this than simply catching magnetic fish on the end of a line. There is multiple different ways you can play including increasingly complex game versions for older kids or kids with more advanced knowledge of letters colors and or spelling. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love this fishing game. It includes a tackle box that works as a storage container along with fish that are numbers, shapes and letters and fishing poles. There are cards that have words or numbers on them to fish for. The fish cards are magnetic and stick to the end of the fishing line. It’s a super cute game and my kids use it as a memory game as well. Many options for one game. I received an incentive to write this review.

My 8 year old has a hard time learning how to spell some words but this game has helped him tremendously. My only complaint was one of the fishing poles was broken and couldn't be fixed but that is very minor. The end of the little piece has a magnet in it making it able to pick up the pieces very easily helping him learn his letters better and spell out words. It tells you what word to catch and the fish have letters on them for you to catch.

This learning game is fun, easy to play in multiple ways, and packs away quite nicely. I love how there isn't a traditional "reel" for the rods, and that there is a little slot at the bottom to helo from getting tangled when being put away. The magnets for the fish are strong enough to grab your "fish", and not be frustrating or fall off for the younger children. I also love how the fish pieces are thicker, and can hold their own and withstand the abuse kids can put toys through. The only thing I wish would have been included was a cloth bag to hold all the fish or card in when putting away, but it isnt a necessary thing. All in all a fun way to play (to spell, to read, or just have fun).
