We have been using Glade Hawaiian scent for decades and thought to try this brand, since they boast longer lasting scent. Ohhhh boy this one was a boozy! The scent was so scary strong on the lowest setting and did not have even a hint of a tropical flavor. It has a OVER POWERING perfume slap you in your face scent. Even after we unplugged the darn thing, the scent is still lingering stabbing us in the nose. Not to mention, it gave us quite a headache. I guess, everyone is different and can handle the eye watering stench this scent punches out. We’re still not giving up and going to give another scent from this brand a shot. Fingers crossed we find a scent that fits our home.

The Hawaiian aloha side smells amazing and just like the other products with this scent. However, because of the two scents to make sure you don't go "nose blind" I don't smell it as much and I personally hate the other "complimentary" scent. I find it gives me a headache and it is WAY stronger so that's all I smell at this point. If there is a way for me to use just the Hawaiian aloha scent please let me know. If you're like me and are just wanting the Hawaiian scent, I would just buy a few of the small spaces instead.

This smelt great the 1st day, however the days after I didn't smell anything. I keep one plug in next to the laundry basket, normally a Gain smell can cover over the odor. I thought maybe it was too subtle of a smell for sweaty construction clothes, so I moved it into the living room. I didn't notice a difference. I clean & vacuum regularly during the week but have had to keep using the Febreze spray. I'd recommend a different scent especially if you live in an older apartment like us.

It may be helpful to know that there are many factors, such as the size of the room and the amount of ventilation, that can affect how much scent you notice. Increased air flow (for example, when windows and doors are opened or air conditioning units and heaters are turned on) can also affect the level of scent. As well, we suggest making sure that your Febreze PLUG is adjusted to the 'High' setting if you'd prefer more noticeable scent.
