I regret purchasing this it smells gross it definitely does not smell like the air freshener. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TRASH I have it on max and have to get close to it in order to smell it

Every time you plug in a Febreze PLUG with Ocean oil refills your nose should be enrobed with the edgy fresh vibes of scents like ginger, water lily, and hinoki (Japanese cypress). We're wondering if you fully inserted the bottles into the PLUG, as smelling these exotic, enticing smells should excite you, not leaving you feeling dull. The ocean fragrance smells amazing, however if you are sensitive to scents and use multiple units throughout your home on the highest setting, it may cause you to get a slight headache. Otherwise, these refills are great and definitely a bargain compared to other name brands.

I bought these wall plug ins because I absolutely love the ocean air freshener by febreze. Unfortunately these plug ins smell nothing like that! It smells very artificial and like a scented kitty litter almost? It’s hard to describe but it definitely smells nothing like their ocean air freshener or fabric spray. The scent is super strong as well. I bought 3 for my entire home and I only need to have one plugged in for it to smell my entire home up.

Be sure to let your device run, uninterrupted for 1 1/2 hours; as the machine rotates from one bottle, to the other, every 45 minutes. By letting it go for an hour and a half, you'll be sure to enjoy the fragrance made by both oils. It would be our pleasure to talk with you further about this, too. It is a strong smell at first. The box claims 50days of scent but it's been 40days on max settings and the smells are starting to die down. I liked the smell in the beginning but then it started to remind me of cat litter smell...... I use this mostly in my basement because of the litter box and and my house sat for a couple of years so it has a musky smell to it. I have been using smelly things on and off and I used to use wax melts but I wanted to switch to this because I am painfully to busy to be switching the wax every 2 weeks. This helps eliminate that. I do want to try other scents but I am hesitant since this is a very strong smell and I can smell it all the way upstairs, which is nice because typically I smell either litter box or basement smell. I gave it four stars because it does tend to remind me of the litter I buy from tidy cats which is febreeze infused. I am not currently using that kind so it's kind of irritating to smell a litter box like scent.

I bought these refills for the extra warmers I purchased. They’ve been plugged in for a few days and I have not noticed any difference.

We're sorry this has been your experience, Wayne, as our products do go through many quality checks to ensure that you can enjoy the best possible results with them. We'd be happy to share some tips with you. If there's no scent coming out at all, make sure the refill has clicked into place. When the refill is properly inserted, you won't be able to see the plastic collar that holds the jars together. As well, make sure the PLUG is fully inserted into the outlet. The device should also be adjusted to Low, Medium, or High, and not in the middle. We hope this does the trick, and please give us a call at (800) 308-3279 if you'd like further assistance.
